My Fake Alpha Husband Refused to Let Me Go: Plus Size

Eloise Hollowmere POV

"Do not wake Eloise up," Rowan whispers. "Get your clothes on quick. I will take you back to your pack now."

"Are you scared she will see us?" Meredith laughs. "She drank too much moon-wine tonight. You marry her tomorrow at the Moon Goddess Bond Hall anyway."

"Shh, keep it down," Rowan says. "She is right outside on the couch."

"Eloise is just a big, fat human," Meredith says. "She needs to give up on you. My belly is growing. Our baby needs to be the next pack leader."

My heart breaks. I stand outside the door. My hands shake. I am so scared and sad. I gave my best songs in the Silverhowl Bard Guild to Meredith because Rowan asked me to. I helped her become a top star. Now they do this to me.

"I love you, Rowan," Meredith says.

"I love you too," Rowan says.

They walk out of the room. They do not see me behind the big chair. They leave the house together. I look out the window. They hug by the car. My tears fall fast.

The next morning comes. I put on my dress. I drive my small car to the Moon Goddess Bond Hall. I do not want to marry him now. I want to see what he lies about.

I wait for a whole hour. The sun is high. Rowan is not here.

My phone rings. I pick it up.

"Eloise, Meredith is hurt bad," Rowan says. "She had a huge car crash. I must stay with her at the pack hospital. We will sign the mate papers another day."

"Is she okay?" I ask.

"She needs me," Rowan says. "Just go home."

He hangs up the phone. He thinks I am stupid. He cares more about his secret wolf lover than his wedding. I am glad I know the truth. I will never marry this bad wolf.

I turn around to leave. A giant black truck stops. A very tall man gets out. He has dark glasses on. He takes them off. He looks like a king. He is huge and strong. He makes the air feel heavy.

I know him. He is Lucan Ashcroft. He is the Alpha Lord of the Moonsong Dominion.

"Lord Lucan, we cannot find Evelina Ashenvale," Beta Aide Corwin says. "Should we go get her?"

"No," Lucan says. "I do not wait for a woman who is late for her own wedding."

"But High Alpha Osric says you must marry today," Corwin says. "If you do not, you lose the pack lands."

"Find me a girl right now," Lucan orders. "I have twenty minutes. Go get any female star from the guild."

"Right now, sir?" Corwin asks.

"Yes, right now," Lucan says.

My eyes get wide. Lucan wants a wife fast. Rowan threw me away. Meredith thinks I am nothing because I am a plus-size human. I want to make them mad. I want Rowan to regret this forever. I need a strong man to help me.

I walk right up to the giant Alpha.

"Lord Lucan, you need a bride today," I say. "Look at me. Can you choose me instead?"

Lucan stops. He looks down at me.

"Who are you?" Lucan asks.

"I am Eloise Hollowmere," I say.

He stands very still. His dark eyes look at my face and my body. He does not say yes and he does not say no. I hold my breath because he looks so scary.
