“Come,” Cain told Nina after unlocking the door of his apartment. They just reached his apartment. Nina didn't utter a single word to him from the second she got inside his car because the poor girl was still not feeling stable, both emotionally and physically.

Wrapping his arm around her shoulder, he took her inside his apartment and closed the main door.

“Sit,” he made her sit on the sofa and sat beside her.

“Now tell me, what happened?” He asked her, staring at her lowered head.

Hearing his question, Nina clutched the front of her dress before slowly shaking her head in denial because she didn't feel like having that mental courage to talk to him regarding what had exactly happened to her.

Cain sighed, heavily, seeing her shaking her head. He dragged himself more close to her on the sofa, entering into her personal space. He placed his palm over her hands which were clenching the front of her dress.
