Every girl wanted to marry him. Everyone doubted that there is no way in hell that a smoking hot bachelor who is a millionaire with killer looks would be single.

The paparazzi tried to dig out news about him, which came out as a futile attempt on their part. 

The Walker International Group is a tall glass building with a total of 40 floors.

The big boss's cabin was on the top floor, from which one can see the view of half of the city....it's such an magnificent view.

The hall of the Walker International group was lavishly furnished with modern art works, colorful inlaid granites and a beige colored ceiling.

Overall the total atmosphere screamed professional and elegant giving off a warm elegance. 

The brown door stood majestic with a golden colored plate with the word CEO written elegantly.

When she was about to knock the door, she heard a noise from inside the ceo office which made her jump a few feet back.

Thinking off her better judgement, she withdrew her hand fro the door. Making up her mind she a straight beeline to the adjacent door, which had the name "Chief Secretary". 

When she entered, the first thing that came to her line of vision was a pile of documents on a black desk and a little bunch of blonde hairs. She called out.

"Mr. Simons, I need to talk about something. Can I have a moment please?".

She waited for few seconds, nothing.....sensing no movements from the CEO’s assistant, she again called out.

After a few minutes, a single hand raised in the air with two fingers held out, indicating that the owner of the hand need two more minutes to give her, his full attention.

The woman staff member moved from one foot to another in nervousness. 

He saw a woman in her late 30's wearing a very nervous expression. Unknown to the doom that is going to be bestowed upon him, Kevin gave light smile to the poor lady and asked her.

"Who are you? I have never seen you before here and what might be your purpose of coming here?".

Faced with numerous question the female staff member took several seconds to answer him.

Swallowing loudly, the female staff member began to speak. 

Kevin listened to her and suddenly he jolted up from his chair, screaming

"whatttt???".

"Did you say the Lorenz group? Is it the financial report of the same Lorenz group which our company acquired two weeks back?".

The female staff member nodded and silently said "yes sir".

"What the hell??.......this report must had been completed last week and should have been submitted to the CEO last week itself. What where you all doing till now???!!". 

Kevin sat in his chair dejectedly holding his hair in his hands.

After composing himself, he raised his head and asked the lady staff member

"and where is your superior? Why are you the one to deliver the folder? And most importantly, why are you giving ME this folder. Isn’t that supposed to be given to the CEO ....right??".

"Sorry sir. The superiors told me to deliver this folder to the CEO. But when I was going to knock the door of the CEO 's office, I got scared and came to look for you".

" and why are you looking for me, if I may ask?".

“please sir. Do me favor sir. Please give this file to the big boss. I don’t want to face him. I am scared". 

"So you are the scapegoat this time. Forget it. Give me the file. And don’t forget to tell your superior to come and meet me. You may go".

"Thank you sir".

"Don’t thank me..wish me luck....it may be my worst day".

Kevin organized his files on the table and ran his hands through his hair to make it presentable.

He began to exit his office and faced the CEO office door. He raised his hand to knock the door.

Suddenly he stopped and took few deep breaths and again faced the door.
