"Stop it!" Bruno shouted Jasmine down before turning back to me, "Things are not like that, Bella. You know you're always the only choice as my future Luna. I—"

"Save it!" I slapped Bruno hard across his face. "The mating ceremony's not gonna happen!"

With that, I slammed the door behind me and left.

Walking aimlessly down the road with my suitcase, I felt my heart bleeding after finding out that my so-called mate had been with me because of my mother’s tie with the Alpha King, not because he loved me.

I'm Isabella Watson, daughter of Alpha George of the Watson Pack.

My mother was Alpha King's cousin and the only child of the previous Alpha of the Watson Pack, but because she inherited my grandmother's blood as a witch, she was wolfless, not able to find an Alpha as her mate.
