Alpha Dwane's POV

I trudged up the steps to my front door, the weight of the day settling heavily on my shoulders. It had been a long and frustrating night, and I was more than ready to collapse into bed and forget about everything that had happened. My body ached from the exertion of the day, and my mind was buzzing with a thousand different thoughts and worries.

As I unlocked the door and stepped inside, I couldn't help but let out a long, weary sigh. My eyes were heavy and my limbs felt leaden as I made my way to the living room, where I collapsed onto the sofa with a groan. I rubbed my eyes tiredly, trying to shake off the exhaustion that seemed to have taken hold of me.

I couldn't believe how things had turned out. What had started as a promising lead had turned into a dead end, and I was no closer to finding out who was trying to hurt Melina. I had wasted hours of my time, and I was no closer to getting any answers.
