Although it was not my intention to be of burden of him, he still carried me all the way to the dining room, gaining the maids giggly attitude and shyly gazing at us but cannot make a comment on it. He placed me on the chair, while I feel embarrassed. He just carried me but why do I feel so affected?

“See how much you troubled me.” he stated.

I sighed, “I didn’t ask you to carry me all the way here. Did I?”

Daniel shook his head, motioning the head maid to serve our meals. This would be our first dinner together. Well, I don’t know any more since I feel the hungriness taking over my sanity. After the serving, we dug onto our meals. I even almost coughed up the food I took since I continuously chew down on the food had it been not for Daniel for handing me water.

I caught my breath, patting my chest, “Thank you.”

He shook his head, “I think what you need is a caretaker.”

“No need. I was just hungry.”
