Overcoming Chapter Five

"It would be nice if you could arrive earlier with your orders. Especially considering you want items shipped overnight. We have enough time to ship off the U.S. orders, but we won't be able to ship the overseas orders until tomorrow morning," the postmaster said as she scanned the orders.

"I understand. I will do my best to get here earlier from now on. Would it help to bring orders throughout the day from now on? My sister and I are new to this, and I want to make things easier for you all."

"Perhaps bringing items twice a day would be best. There are several post offices as well throughout the city."

"I will get something figured out. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

I paid for the shipping charges and ran a hand through my hair as I walked to my car. Why my parents thought it would be ok to let all of the employees go is beyond me. Emberly and I need all hands on deck to make this business run smoothly.
