Chapter 30: You know Jack?

"Answer me, Olwen," Luca asked impatiently.

"You really want to know?" Olwen asked dejectedly.

"That's of course."

Luca made a stern expression, causing Olwen to flinch.

"I'll do my best to get things back to normal okay? So don't put any more pressure on me." Olwen said half pleading, half threatening: "Don't stop my determination and will."

Luca doesn't believe Olwen can do what she claims to be. Intuition told him so. But, putting aside what Olwen had mentioned, for the time being, Luca decided to move on to another, more concerning matter at the moment. The present needs to be dealt with first before the future.

"Listen, Olwen, I want you to tell me the truth." Luca emphasized again, placing his hands on Olwen's shoulders, bringing his face closer to Olwen: "But if that is unfair to you, then let me tell you why I want to know the truth. See as It's a fair exchange, okay?"
