The party

I was so eager to have this party started. I was like I was living the life that wanted . For away from the control freak of a mom that I have. One that determines all that takes place in my life.

I had managed to convince Layla to go with me and that made us three. I had bought things that I was sure were fit for the party 

" are you sure I look beautiful  in this dress? "  Layla asked me I don't  even know much number of time now.  Their is one thing that I have learnt about  her,  she is really  insecure about herself  and most times she thinks so low of herself. 

"come on Layla,  you look so stunning "I said with a matter  of fact.  That is truth " I am sure many guys will be note able to even remove their eyes from you even if they want to" I add and she rolls her eyes at me.  

"Come on Layla,  one thing you should  learn is to have confidence  in your self " I advise her. 

" Okay. ..I will try that " she says losing  herself  in the low thing again.  I had invited her over here because  I knew how she can be.  She might  even decide  to give up on the party and not go .Therefore  bringing  her here was the best option and therefore  there is no way she is running  away from me.  

"okay,  continue  making  yourself  feel at home . I need to get some thing in the bedroom and we shall go" I say as I head to the bedroom. 

Just when I enter , there is a knock at the door.  Of course  I know who is there since I have not acquired many friends as such so far. 

" please, help and get that door " I ask Layla  throughwhile still finishing  up some thing in bedroom and then I come out meeting Sean with his usual  beautiful  smile on.  And for Layla , she is clearly  uncomfortable  . This girl really  needs so counselling  to enable her over come this habit of being  shy near people.  

"hey you " I greet him playfully.  

" hey "he greets me back simply. 

For sean he seems very comfortable  which is not the case with Layla.  I get my purse ready to go but then I remember  their is something  that I have forgotten  to do. 

"By the way, Layla ... This is Sean and Sean... This is Layla " I make a simple introduction  between  the two and they shake hands.  Layla seems to have over come her shyness and she seems composed now.

"Here we go! " I say excitedly  as we head inside the house.  There are so many students all of then enjoying . Many are dancing , others drinking  and many kissing and making  out in the extreme corners. 

"hey " Meghan said as she approached  us.  This can't  be.  What can she be wanting  from us.  We who are more over freshmen..then I get it,  her eyes are fixed at Sean. 

" Hey handsome " she approaches sliding  her hand around  Sean and forgetting  like the rest of us exist.  This is the real Meghan that I have heard about. 

I tab at Sean like to tell him to get himself  out of that and I grab Layla's  hand taking her to the counter to get some drinks.  She is kind of nervous. 

" Relax,  we are not taking any alcohol " I say and her tensed self relaxes.  True,  I may be in need of exploring  and wanting  to experience  some thing  new but I have not yet wanted to explore  alcohol.  We continue  taking  some unalcholic  drinks and dancing  a little.  If u you look at Layla  right now,  you could not believe  that she is the one whom I almost dragged here.  She is enjoying  her self,  interacting  new people. For Sean,  I don't  even know where Meghan took him.  But whatever  is taking  place there,  God knows. 

" I like that song " Layla  says excitedly  as she runs off to the dance flow to dance a long with others I remaining  on the counter  enjoying  my drink. 

I am lost in admiring  Layla shake her body from side to side when I hear some one. 

" hey.. I heard you need a roommate "...

Hello readers .I am sorry for taking long to update this story. I am so busy but  I will now try as much as I can to get some time and update it

 At least  I will be adding  three chapters  a week or even more when I get enough  time.
