The new week would be more stressful for Lillian, all the student resumed. The seats won't be empty and the class would be more rowdy.
Lillian walked to the classroom swinging the class registry on her hands. The walkway to the class was empty but she could hear the noise coming from her class.
"Good morning class" Lillian greeted loudly but she reduced her voice to prevent her from shouting just like the last time. The students replied with their usual " Good morning, we hope your night was pleasant "
Lillian replied with a "it was lovely too, yours? And the class answered "wonderful" though some students didn't say a word. Lillian began the confirmation of the attendance of students in the class.

BECAUSE I CRIED ALONE There's always this feeling that comes on Sunday, its always cool and so was this evening. "Sweets,it's been a week since I gave my students an assignment, though I didn't tell them when to submit it but nobody has presented theirs." Mark changed the channel, he was searching for something nice on TV to watch. "What kind of assignment?" She told him about the assignment and why she gave it to them. "You know sweets,I told you about the boys that fought, the rude boy. Sometimes the aura of the class is tense,as if everyone is at war with each other,so I gave them this composition to write about your relationship with family and classmates, but nobody seems interested" Lillian breathed down, heavily and it made Mark turn to her and pat her back. "Why don't you giv
LIKE A NEW LIFE (Mending challenges three) Like a new life I woke up one morning and I found my mom dead. It wasn't a shock,we were actually waiting for her to die since she was sick, down with leukemia. She always avoided talking about my dad,but if she did,she would tell me not to blame him and later she told me he didn't know I existed,he only knew of the pregnancy but she told him that she aborted it. When she was in her last days, she wrote a letter to my dad and told me to move in with him after her burial. She said it was her last wish,I wanted to stay with my aunt but even I felt pity for my aunt Danielle because I knew she was struggling too. I moved in with my dad and he didn't even apologize to me,for not coming after me. At some point after my mom's death,I had nothing in mind than the thought of moving in with my dad. " Will he seat

By 6am,he was getting ready for work,he stared at Lillian and smiled,he didn't think she could handle kids, especially teenagers. Knowing Lillian's character, she could change based on her life situation and that was what she was doing. "Sweets, sweets,it's past six" Lillian opened her eyes gently and slowly sat down" "I don't feel like going to school today, sweets" Mark widened his eyes, hoping she wasn't sick. "Sweets, are you okay? Feeling sick" he touched her forehead to check her body temperature. " I'm not sick,it's frustrating. They are not being cooperative. Nobody have submitted the assignment, nobody came for counseling. I mean,do they have a problem with me? She got up from the bed and went into the bathroom, Mark followed her and gave her a ba

Someone knocks on the door and she asks the person to come in,she actually thought it would be the principal but who she saw surprised her and she was glad someone finally came. "Hi,have you come for counseling?" The boy stared at her and blinked his eyes,he felt a little bit embarrassed. "Ma,I'm Daniel,Tega Daniel" he smiled when Lillian smiled at him,he began to feel less embarrassed. " hmmmm,I know. You know I take attendance record every morning right" she laughed at her small joke and asked him to seat. " Wow,why did I just notice how beautiful your hair is, look at those curls,so shiny!" "Don't you wear heels?" "I do,why do you ask?" " I don't remember seeing you wear one,are you sure you wear heels?" Daniel opened the pack of biscuit he was holding. " I really do wear heels, they are just difficult for me to walk with. At this rate, you'll be the only who eats the biscuits, even the juice too." Lillian laughed. " I gave my sister the juice" " is that all you did?" Lillian asked Daniel "You only told me to give it to her and we don't even talk!" He stared at the orange juice on the table. CHOCOLATEY COUNSELING Lillian didn't feel like going to school,it's Wednesday morning but her will to go to school was 0.1 percent. Wounds heal. The vegetables were sandy,Lillian wondered where the market women bought their vegetables from, it's always very difficult to clean them and it required a lot of water while rinsing it. The Scotch bonnet had a strong aroma and it made Lillian's nostrils hot, her fingers would be hotter later. Lillian chopped many pepper, she likes her fried vegetables spicy. She checked the boiling yam on the cooker. She had peeled half of a large yam by mistake. When she was done with the cooking, she called Mark and asked him if he was close to the house. MIXED FEELINGS Lillian was preparing everything she needed for her class trip. She wants to have fun with her students and make them see how intriguing Literature is. That morning before going to class, someone she wasn't expecting or expecting the least to visit her came, "Emmanuel" " Good morning ma" she stared at him in awe,he was being polite too,on other days,he would say the good morning without a "ma". " Good morning " she replied " You are here for counseling right? Lillian asked " Not really,I'd like for us to discuss" That was it,his boldness was back, though a little. " That day you told us about being unable to have a child, I thought it was pitiful of you, seeking attention and pity from us..but now,I really
