I woke up one morning and I found my mom dead. It wasn't a shock,we were actually waiting for her to die since she was sick,down with leukemia. She always avoided talking about my dad,but if she did,she would tell me not to blame him and later she told me he didn't know I existed,he only knew of the pregnancy but she told him that she aborted it. When she was in her last days,she wrote a letter to my dad and told me to move in with him after her burial. Wounds heal. The vegetables were sandy,Lillian wondered where the market women bought their vegetables from, it's always very difficult to clean them and it required a lot of water while rinsing it.
