Aria's POV "Here is your office." Connor said he opened a door and we got inside. To be honest, it was well decorated. There was a glass window that had a really good view of the city. In front of it, there was a brown table and an office chair on one side and two other chairs on the other side. Across the room there was a small glass table with the two-seat grey sofa, and a few steps away from it, there was a door. "What's that door for?" I asked. "That's your bathroom. You have a pretty nice office if you ask me. It's one of the biggest offices on this floor and it's right across from the boss's office." Did he just say it's right across the Axel's office? "Yes I did, see." Connor said pointing across the room where you could see a closed door through the glass window and I realized that I said my thoughts out loud. "But we call him boss or Mr.Campbell, it's surprising how you called him Axel as if you know each other." "No, no, we don't know each other.....I mean I don't eve
Aria's POV "Aria! Aria!" I broke out of my chain of thoughts when I heard Cassie call my name while she snapped her fingers in front of my face. I looked out the car window and realized that we had already arrived at Campbell Glams Corporation. I felt my heartbeat picking up the pace as panic washed over me. "Hey! Aria!" Cassie called out again as she her hand in front of my face. "Yes." I said absentmindedly. "You were lost in thoughts again." "Ummm..... yeah....I...." I sighed as I looked at her. "I don't know Cassie, I'm feeling really scared. I mean, who knows what is going on in Axel's mind right. Why does he want to give me this job? Obviously he has no intention of helping after everything I did to him and what are his plans with me does he want he want to hurt or do something bad to me I am under so much pressure that....." "Ari, calm down and take a deep breath." Cassie said as she held my shoulders and I did as she told. "Take another deep breath." I took another d
Axel's POV I walked inside the bakery and saw Aria cleaning the counter. She looked so innocent, but I knew her true character, she was a betrayer. I walked over to the counter and waited for her to look at me, but she was too busy cleaning the counter. "Welcome to Julia's Bakery, what can I get you?" She said, still not looking at me. This was getting in my nerves. "I prefer you look at me when you are talking to me." I said and she slowly lifted her eyes up to my face. "Axel!" She said as her mouth hang open, while her eyes grew wide. I smirked as I saw her expression. This is exactly what I had wanted. "Axel." She said my name again in a much lower voice. "Axel it's you!" She said as she came around the counter and stood where I was. "I...... I can't believe it.... it's really you, and you can see." She said as she put her hands on my cheeks, I could see tears start to form in her eyes. "How many fingers are this?" She said as she held up two fingers in front o
One and a half Year Later Aria's POV I adjusted my wig as I stared at my reflection in the mirror, I had tiny red spots all over my skin, making me look even more uglier. I couldn't control the tears flowing from my eyes. I held onto the sink to support myself. I couldn't understand why all this was happening to me. Was I destined to always be miserable? "I'm sorry Miss Watson, but you had a miscarriage." I recalled the doctor's words and I cried even more. Why did my baby have to pay for mistakes? Why did my baby have such an unfortunate luck to have me as a mother? Why was all this happening to me? "Aria." I heard Cassie call out from outside the bathroom door. "Are you done?" I quickly recollected myself before I answered. "Yeah, yeah, I will be out in a minute." I washed my face and looked at myself in the mirror again. My eyes were still red and puffy, making it obvious that I was just from crying. I poured water over my face again before opening the door and walking ou
Aria's POV "You add these three eggs," I said as I cracked three eggs into the mixing bowl, "and then you stir." I said as I started to stir the mixture. Cassie was observing every movement of mine very keenly. It had been two weeks ever I was discharged from the hospital and I was responding well. I could get myself around the house but occasionally used crutches. Ever since I had started to live with Cassie, I noticed that she ordered every our meals, from breakfast to dinner, and when I asked, she told me that she didn't know how to cook, so I took it upon myself to always make our meals though she used to tell me that it wasn't necessary, but I insisted. I really love cooking, spending my entire life indoors, I didn't have much going on, so I used to hang around in the kitchen and observe our chef as he cooked and even told him to teach me. After making our breakfast this morning, I decided to bake some cupcakes and Cassie told me that she would love to learn how to bake so
Two weeks later Aria's POV It had already been two weeks and I had just been discharged from the hospital and Cassie and I were on our way to her place. She was really nice to forgive me after I had acted like a jerk and misjudged her and even allowed me to stay over at her place until I recovered and got a well stable job. I was still unsure about staying at a stranger's place after what happened with Jake, I still shudder at the thoughts of those memories. "Are you okay?" Cassie asked as she glanced over at me and looked back at the road "Yeah. I just remembered something." "I know you have through a lot Aria and I am not going to force to tell me anything till you feel like it. I know you are the daughter of Mr.Mark Watson of Watson Corporation, and I also know that you refused to marry Axel Campbell because he is blind but I don't believe that is the case." She said not taking her eyes off the road. "Why is that?" I asked as looked at her. "Because I know there is always
