Chapter Five

The air was chilled and filled with mists, no sound was heard except the insects chirping and the sound of the breeze. Darey was there in her front yard waiting on her.

She walked out and saw him, they both walked hand in hand to a garden close to both of their homes, the quiet and the peace felt so good, calming her nerves, they sat down in silence staring at the stars and moon in the sky.

"Darey," Nora said, 

"Nora," Darey said, 

As they faced each other, breathlessly Darey covered her lips, she felt feather light touch on her lips, as he sucked her bottom lips, his lips tasted of mint. His tongue caressed her cheek and a moan slipped from her throat. 

His hands roamed all over her body, as he ripped her nightgown off and fondled her breast, he slipped his hands down to her inner thighs, and she gasped.

"Darey!" she exclaimed, 

This was exactly what she wanted, she thought to herself. 

"Should I continue?" Asked Darey, as he played with her ear with his tongue, 

"Don't stop, please," begged Nora, 

Smiling to himself, he ripped off the remaining clothing she had on, and with a great thrust he filled her, stars filled her eyes, and as he thrust into her deeper and harder with every stroke he took, they both moaned in pleasure and great desire.

They knew what this would cost them, but what they didn't know is how deep they both will be affected.

He moaned loudly as he reached his peak. They both climaxed together, as he rolled off her, they didn't talk, he wrapped her in his embrace and they gazed at the stars falling asleep in each other's arms.

Water was trickling down her face as she opened her eyes, it was morning, and she could feel something beside her, looking around she saw Darey sound asleep, smiling to herself, she stood up and tapped him to wake up.

He opened his eyes and smiled at her, 

"Good Morning Nora," Said Darey, 

"Good Morning Darey," replied Nora, 

"We need to get going, so no one notices our disappearance," said Darey, 

Nora looked at herself, still naked with no piece of cloth to wear, they both burst out laughing, 

"Come on, wear my robe," said Darey, 

She wore the robe as they made their way back home.

The door to Darey's bedroom creaked open, he was lying down on his bed peacefully, when Serena walked in, tapping his shoulders, 

"Wake up son, it is morning already," said Serena

"Good Morning mum," greeted Darey stretching himself and rubbing his eyes, 

"Come on, go freshen up your dad and I want to talk to you about something important," said Serena, 

He stands up and goes to the shower, as Serena walks out closing the door to his room, he quickly showered and got dressed then went downstairs to meet his parents.

"Mum I'm here, so where's dad?" Darey asked, 

 "He's waiting at the dining table," she replied

"I hope there is nothing wrong mum? you look so worried," said Darey as he held his mum by her hand, 

"Not to worry son," said Serena smiling at her, while they made their way to the dining table, 

"Good Morning Dad," greeted Darey, 

"Beautiful Morning son," Jones replied with a smile on his face, 

  He sat down facing his dad, as Serena serves breakfast, they are in silence before Jones spoke, 

"son, your mom and I have something to tell you, it might not be easy for you to understand but we are with you every step of the way," said Jones, 

"Okay Dad, whatever it is, I can handle it, just tell me already or are you both getting a divorce?" Asked Darey, 

"Far from it son," replied Serena, 

"We have been hiding something from you, for all these years and we feel that you're more mature now to know the truth," his dad said, Darey looks confused.

"Son, I know that when you hear this you might hate us or thank us but just know that whatever we did was for your good," his mum said.

"Okay, at least you guys should tell me what it is first," Darey said, his parents looking at each other.

"You're not a normal human child," his dad said.

"I already know that," Darey said, 

"Your real name is Prince Alstin Hartley, you are from another world, we ran with you to protect you from the order to kill our kind, your parents were killed during the massacre, we served your parents at that time, there was nothing we could do, that was the only way," said Jones, 

"You kept all this from me, you didn't bother to tell me anything, you are not even my real parent," shouted Darey, hitting his hand on the dining table, his whole body was shaking, he glared at them, then tears flowed down his eyes when he the words sunk in.

"My parents are dead," he whispered to himself,

"We raised you Darey, we are here for you, we didn't want to tell you to protect you," Serena said, tears dropping from her eyes, 

"That's enough," Screamed Darey as he stormed out of the house,

Mrs Langson didn't get enough sleep last night, so she was up early, but not early enough to see Nora sneaking into her room in a robe. 

" Nora, wake up, it's morning already," said Mrs Langson as she walked into Nora's room to wake her up, 

Nora, stretching on her bed, opened her eyes, it was almost one hour before she sneaked into her room, and cleaned up.

"Good Morning mum," greeted Nora, 

"Good Morning, go shower and get dressed there is a lot to do, '' said Mrs Langson, 

Nora stands up to go shower and get dressed, before joining her mother downstairs for breakfast.

" Come sit, breakfast is ready," said Mrs Langson, as she drew out a seat for her to sit.

They are in silence before Mrs Langson spoke, 

"Nora, it's time for you to know the truth about yourself." Her mum said, Nora sat up and turned her attention to her mum. 

"You are a princess, you belong to a royal family and you weren't born here but in another world, where we have elves and knights," said her mum.

"Am I an elf ?" Asked Nora.

"I don't know but if you were one, your ears would be pointy," her mum said.

"Oh great, you don't even know what I am" Nora with an attitude.

"I'm sorry dear" her mum apologized.

"Okay okay, just continue," said Nora.

"Your name is Aubrey Ciana Logan," her mum said.

"So I'm Princess Aubrey Ciana Logan," Nora said.

"Yes you are," said her mum

"What about my dad?" Nora asked.

"Hmmmmmm" answered her mum.

"When can I get to see him?" Asked Nora.

"When the time is right," said her mum.

"The time is not always right, nice going mum," Nora said with attitude.

"One day you'll understand why I'm doing this," said her mum as she smirks.

"Okay, it's like that one day would never come," Nora said with attitude.

"Why are we here? Why do I keep having those weird dreams? What does it mean? Why do I always see a lady dying every time and she's always been killed by one person?" Nora asked.

"Who is the dark knight? What connection does he have with me?" Nora asked.

"These questions are something you have to answer by yourself," her mum said but Nora doesn't feel satisfied.

"So you're not going to tell me anything, what's the essence of telling me all this and keep on acting as you care," Nora said raising her voice.

"You can't understand it now," her mum said.

"Why won't I understand, you just keep hiding things from me and you think you're protecting me as that" Nora said, she storms off angrily.

"Nora! Nora! Hold on," her mum called out.

They both stormed out of their houses, each headed for the garden. She got there and screamed at the top of her voice, just then someone tapped her shoulder, she turned, 

"Darey," she whispered, and flung herself on him, crying, 

He held onto her for some time, then she let him go, they sat down, both in deep thoughts, replaying what had happened in their homes.

"We should go," blurted out Nora, 

"To where?" Asked Darey, 

"The other side or whatever it is, I am tired of living like this, I need to know the truth," said Nora, 

"My parents told me some things, and my real name is Prince Alstin Hartley," said Darey laughing mockingly, 

"Can you imagine, they are not even my real parents, said I am an elf or something, it just doesn't make sense." Said Darey, 

They were quiet for a while before Nora held his hands, 

"What do you want?" She asked him, looking at him straight in the eyes, 

"I want to learn the truth about my existence," replied Darey, 

"Good, we leave now." Said Nora.

"Like now?" Asked Darey, 

"Yes Darey, right now, they kept our life from us, let us steal this part of our lives from them," Nora replied, 

Just then, they held their hands together and thought about Gretchen, just as he thought to them, whenever you want me, think of me, I will be there. 

Gretchen appeared, as usual, looked at both of them, 

"We have made our decision, said Darey, 

"We are ready," said Nora, 

Gretchen closed his eyes and opened them, his eyes turned blue, then he stretched out his hands and made a circle in the air. A circular ring is formed with blue flames around it, inside of it is blue with shades of black. The portal is openly linking their world and the other world together.

"This is it, this is the time I get answers to my questions," Nora said in her mind, Darey and her hold hands and go through the portal and it closes right behind them.
