Oh My Baby

This stupid fucking alternator on this fucking Harley was kicking my fucking ass. Nothing pissed me off more than a bolt that refused to loosen. For the last five minutes, I have been struggling with trying multiple different ways to unscrew this fucking thing. If my brother would get the air compressor fixed, this wouldn’t be an issue.

“Hello? Is anyone there?” A deep voice called from the office area. Throwing down the wrench harder than I needed to, I grabbed a rag and headed to the front.

“What can I do for you?” I knew my extremely long black hair was frizzy, grease was on my cheek and I could only assume my eyeliner was smudged. All this came very much self awareness as I locked eyes with the most gorgeous man I had ever seen.

I was a taller woman at 6’1”, yet he was at least three inches taller than me. Completely ripped, tattoos, shaggy brown hair and a smile that I’m sure made every girl’s knees wobble. He looked me up and down before he licked his bottom lip. My jeans were tight, ripped and showing a little more skin than probably needed. The black tank top showed him just how big my tits were.

His athority ran off him, however, I was just as powerful. “I was looking for Tatum. He was recommended to fix my bike. Is he around?”

This part was always fun for me. “I’m Tatum. This is my shop.”

He looked taken aback as he looked around. “Y-you are Tatum?”

“I didn’t stutter. What is wrong with your bike? Did the chain fall off?”

His eyes narrowed at me. “Funny. Have you ever seen a Ducati Streetfighter V4?”

Cocking my head to the side, I moved over to the window. “You mean that?” Pointing out the window, the strange hot man walked over and looked out. “Yeah, that’s mine. What did you need?” I was proud of that bike. I had bought it myself, without my dad’s money. It was all black with neon pink accents.

“I have moved back in town and am looking for a routine mechanic. My bike needs a tuneup for now.”

That little bit of information as well as his being an obvious ranking wolf, sent off warning bells. “What is your name?”

“Maddox Flinn. Son of Alpha Williams of White Eagle Pack.”

Well, damn. “Sis? It finally came in. Are you here?” My brother’s voice echoed from the back as I took a step away from Maddox. “Tate? Where the fu- oh.”

My brother was taller than I was, but we shared the naturally tan skin tone. His hair was shorter than Maddox’s, yet he had twice as many tattoos. “Cade. Nice to see you.” Maddox walked up to Cade and held out his hand.

Cade glanced at me. “What’s going on here?” His back was straight, unsure of what he just walked in on.

“I was told to come here for my bike. I didn’t realize this was pack territory. My apologizes if I over stepped.”

Cade relaxed a little. “This is my sister, Tatum. She runs this place and is who was probably recommended.”

Maddox glanced at me, his demeanor completely changed. “You haven’t met my beta yet, Hayden, and this is my gamma, Beau.” Maddox shook hands with my brother’s friends.

Hayden was quiet, reserved and mouthwatering. With two full arm sleeves, he was working on his legs. However, his short, blonde hair and blue eyes made him look young. Beau was a rugged, skinner but had a wicked punch. Piercings lined his ears, a lip ring and eyebrow enhanced his square jaw.

“Nice to meet you both. Mine should be around here shortly.”

“Well, you came to the right place. Tate is the place to be.” Beau walked around and put his arm over my shoulders.

Rolling my eyes, I pushed him off and walked over to my desk. “When do you want it done?” I asked. Looking at Cade, “can you get it changed out? I need it.”

Cade looked back at Hayden and Beau and nodded. They took off to switch the compressure. “I would like it as soon as you can get it done.”

It was four o’clock but I didn’t have to be back for anything. “Fine. As soon as they replace my air compressure, I’ll get started.”

“Sounds good.” Maddox nodded at Cade as he pulled out his phone. “Excuse me.” He muttered as he walked out.

“I thought you had a meeting?” We walked out to the back to see Beau and Hayden struggle.

“We do. I just got this shipment and knew you needed it.”

He folded his hands over his chest. “When did they get back?” I asked, looking behind us. I knew Alpha William had a son. I just didn’t know he was due to come back from alpha training. Since I just got back from boarding school, I was still learning about everyone and building my business.

“I think a few days ago. I just ran into him earlier today with dad.”

“All done. Anything else you need?” Beau walked over to us with a fresh layer of sweat. “It’s fucking hot in here.”

“It’s a garage.” I sighed as Maddox rolled his bike over to us. “What did you expect?”

“Are you coming out tonight?” Hayden looked at me before looking at Cade.

“Yeah, we will be there.” I nodded.

“Good.”Beau smiled at me as they walked away.

Cade turned to Maddox. “I shouldn’t have to tell you to treat my sister correctly.”

It wasn’t a threat, but the message was clear. Maddox didn’t like it, but seemed to understand. “Of course.”

Cade nodded as he looked at me one last time and followed Hayden and Beau into their car. As they drove off, Maddox watched them leave as I finished rolling his bike into an empty spot.

“Feel free to have a seat unless you want to look over my shoulder. Assuming you know what you are looking at.” With my foot, I shoved a stool over to him.

“Are you always this sarcastic and slightly bitchy?” Maddox took a seat and kept his arms folded. It was hard to focus on his bike and not the ache that was developing between my legs.
