Nyx's POV

We pushed her back, and she flew away. I stood beside Akira, ready to fight them till the last of my blood, but they took the wise and easy way out. They ran off. They took Neptune in their chase.

Somehow, I was able to control the Earth. I split it open, while Akira used the wind to draw them into the opened Earth. A considerable proportion of the army that had come, fell into the pit, but the goddess escaped into thin air.

We came back to normal, relaxing our bodies and muscles as the battle came to an end.

“Hell yeah, we won!” One of the warriors shouted, and cheers began. I hurriedly to Kieran's side. He was wheezing in pain, and he was barely breathing.

I held out his hand, and I managed to draw out a considerable amount of pain he was feeling.
