Chapter 03

Jax was walking his way to his place when he decided to call Chassy. At the elevator he saw Aikee, so he had to drop the call.

"What do you want, Aikee?" He asked.

"Tomorrow, she's going to look for a job. Give her a ride to the Gabriella's shop, it'll be easier to make her happy if she gets the job. Don't make one wrong move Jax or she'll get stolen," Aikee replied.

Jax had enough of making human by human happy. "Aikee, I don't care about them anymore. I just want to have fun before our star falls down"

"Tiana loves you Jax and sh-"

"She forgot about me! She took my happiness away Aikee. You don't understand how that felt! I can't make Chassy happy and I'm sorry I can't help our star!" Jax yelled at Aikee.

Aikee understands exactly how Jax is feeling. The kid has felt the feeling a couple of times, that's why the kid is Aikee. An Aikee knows every thought of the ones inside the star.

Aikee smiled at Jaxzim. "Maybe, if we succeed this time, you'll see her again," said Aikee placing both his hands on the back of his head.

"What do you know? You're just a new Aikee. You don't know what happened in the past and why we got stuck here. So you better shut it, Aikee," Jax hissed. He's pissed at how a kid is their Aikee. And their Aikee is childish giving the last powder to a girl who doesn't seem to cherish happiness.

"I may look like a kid but I know what will happen after she gives the fifty fifth happiness. Good bye Jax, I hope you don't turn out to be the one of the mists," Aikee said calmly looking at Jax's eyes. The Aikee could see in Jaxzim's eyes that he wants to know more and that was his cue to disappear.

Jax sighed heavily laying down on his bed. He misses Tiana so much. He hates himself for letting her fall inlove with a mist but he couldn't do anything. He can't teach a heart whom to love.

The next day Jax didn't go see Chassy. He went to see the girl they once tried to help. Tiana can't see him but he can see her. She doesn't seem like she's doing good. Tiana looks like the way she was. He tried to hold her hand but he couldn't and it pains him.

Chassy went to job hunt again. During interviews her head was really occupied by those guys who appears and disappears. She regret ever going for a job hunt, she couldn't focus.

"Hey! Chassy!" someome shouted and because she thought it was one of the aliens, she didn't look back.

She continued to walk ahead with her head bowed down. Until she hit someone, making her rub her forehead. She looked up and it was some guy who she doesn't know.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I wasn't looking," she apologized. The guy smiled and handed her wallet.

"Your name's Chassy. I've been yelling your name but didn't really cared," Sky said. "Oh and I'm Sky by the way," he added.

"You know my name and uhm... thankyou for giving my wallet back. It's really nice knowing people like you still exist"

Sky noticed the white folder Chassy was holding. "You looking for a job? I see what you're holding"

Chassy nodded. "Yup, I really need it at the moment so I roam around"

"Ight uhm. I actually know a shop just near here. If you want to try, I'll be glad to show ya where it is," Sky offered. Chassy smiled and nodded.

Sky showed her where the shop was. They talked a little until they were outside. Chassy seemed pretty nervous. "Thanks for showing m-"

"Hey! You're all good," Sky told her holding her shoulders. "You will get that job okay. I'll wait for you so let's go in"

Chassy took a deep breath. "I can do this!" She cheered herself up. Then they both head inside.

Chassy told the staff about the vacancy and so she was escorted to the personnel room. Sky waited patiently outside.

Minutes later Sky smiled feeling a mark on his arm. Then Chassy came out with a grin and two thumbs up. She excitedly run to Sky and hugged him.

"Thankyou so much!" Chassy was so happy, she finally got a job. Now her grandma won't think of her as a lazy cat.

Sky decided to treat her icecream for getting the job. And she was into it too. She even forgot about the weird things that is happening to her.

"So when do you start?" Sky asked as he licked his ice cream. They are walking near the river where most of the city people doesn't bother going to.

"The owner said Monday and I'm really happy. That's all thanks to you though." Chassy meant every word she said. She never felt this happiness for so long.

"Oh by the way, do you want to be friends with me?" Asked Sky. Chassy nod smiling at him.

"That means I can visit you anytime now?"

Chassy nod again licking her ice cream.

"Does that mean too that you're not weirded out anymore?"

Chassy stopped licking her ice cream. "Wait, what are you asking about?" She asked frowning.

"You can't take that back and oh I gotta go. I'll see you later," Sky said and disappeared.

That made her gaped and her icecream fell from its cone. She was frozen. Her brain was still processing it all and when it did she blacked out.

The minute she woke up she hurriedly got up. She is seeing things! She's hallucinating. "I'm really going crazy," Chassy whispered to herself as she touches her head with both her hand.

"Nope, you're not"

She looked at where that voice came from and saw Austin. She immediately stood up. She raised both her hands as if she was ready to show her karate skills.

"Look, show some weirdness and I won't hesitate to kick your balls. That is if you have balls," Chassy hissed, still on that position.

"I'm only here to explain so please hear me out," Austin sincerely said. Chassy thought about it and he really seemed like he's not gonna hurt her.

She put her hands down and composed her posture. Cleared her throat and said, "okay I'll calm down just please don't just tell me bye and then you're gonna disappear! We humans walk away and then we fade! We don't just vanish with the wind!"

She ended up yelling at Austin. Austin hates her questions. Chassy ask and ask questions but never process nor understands them that's why Austin dislikes her.

"Please just try to understand it all before you ask questions or dang whine again and again"

"I'll try my very best not to freak out. I'm sorry but this all ain't just normal," replied Chassy. She sat on the grass waiting for Austin to talk. He sat beside her.

"I need you to understand because this is so important to us," he said. Chassy saw it in his eyes. It was as if he was asking her to help him.
