I woke up to Toby mindlinking me about some Pack business, specifically the function we were setting up to scope out Hellroaring River Pack. I looked over at Addie, soundly sleeping, and slipped out of bed.

“Meet me in my office,” I linked Toby.

I tossed on a shirt and walked into the other wing, catching up with Toby as he came up the stairs.

“Good night?” he asked with a smirk.

“Yes, but not like that. She’s not ready.” I shrugged at him. “I can wait.”
