Lindsay's Pov

The door to the living room slammed shut.

I was stunned in place, feeling aggrieved yet furious for a moment.

Even so, I knew I could not blame Bishop for lashing out at me.

After all, to him, I had broken the photo frame.

Carmen told me that their mother had passed away, and that the photo frame meant a lot to Bishop.

I sighed as I tried to think of a remedy.

The crafting of that photo frame did not seem complicated. Perhaps I could make a new one that looked the same, but it required materials to make a photo frame...

I was kicked out of my original pack penniless, so how was I going to buy materials?

I sighed again. After looking around the living room, I saw the black card that had been on the table since morning.

I walked over and picked up the black card.

Bishop said that there was $500,000 inside it...

With it, I could even buy a similar photo frame without having to make it myself.
