HENRY

"What're you doing here?" She sat across me and smiled like this was something we did often.

"Henry, why are you being distant?"

"What do you mean?, Were we ever close?"

"We would have gotten married if it wasn't for what happened."

"Well we didn't get married, and thank God we didn't cause I don't think I want to be married to you."

"Do you have to be so mean all the time?"

"Mean?, I'm simply being honest."

"Anyway, I'd like you to do something for me."

I leaned forward in my seat and removed my glasses. "You want me," I put a hand on my chest "to do something for you." I pointed at her and she nodded. "You're funny."

"Why?, Hazel asked me to meet her at her boyfriend's pizza place and I don't wanna go alone."

"Hazel," that woman, I didn't like hearing her name. Since the last time we met, she's been living in my brain, refusing to go away. I wasn't so sure I wanted to see her again, yet I desperately wanted to. "When?"
