A weak smile spread across my cracked lips at the realization. I no longer had dark spots lining my vision. Vile wasn’t rising from my throat. My body didn’t feel like it was being pulled back to a certain asshole alpha.

I had broken the blood-tie. It must have snapped during the crash. It’s only unfortunate that I crashed the car before I could get even further.

I would have done a maniacal laugh if my rib cage wasn’t in my throat.

The forest was now deadly calm. Any animals around would have already run for the hills from the Ferrari loosing control.

I shuddered at the scene in front of me. Fallen trees littered the ground. The fast car had been pulverized into nothing. Pieces of the vehicle flown about the crash site. Glass littered the forest floor.

I had to get out of here before Cassar killed me just for hurting his trees.

I struggled to sit up. My muscles screamed at me to stay where I was. I spit out some blood that pooled in my mouth.

I almost vomited at the sight of myself.
