MIA'S POV

I sat leaning my back to Davon's grave. Screaming his name inside my head. Hoping he could hear me. The sun will set in a few hours, and Davon will return to the notebook again. No one will come and save me.

"Davon, I'm in your grave. I'm lost. Please come and get me, please…"

Alone and scared, I called Davon inside my head repeatedly. Worrying about my safety and Oliver's. He was left alone in the house by now. Jaret doesn't care and would go as he pleases. Shame on him.

Sometimes I prayed for his death during a police operation. That's not good, but his demise means freedom for my family.

"Huh?" I heard a rustling sound by the thick bushes. Afraid it could be a snake, I hurtled to stand and back off.
