MIA’S POV

I couldn’t held back my tears anymore and cried. Davon and I were never separated since he came out of the notebook. This is the first and I prayed it would be the last.

“Hey, it’s okay. Davon will come and visit you when he get the time. I’m sure he will,” Nixon said to comfort me.

“Will he? I don’t think Victor would allow him. He’s very tenacious earlier.”

“The king is always like that. He was just looking out for Davon. Besides, this is for his own good.”

My phone rang. I was so quick to answer it, and I’m glad I did.

“Davon,” I sobbed hearing his voice.

“Mia, please don’t cry. I knew you’ll crying that’s why I called.”

“I can’t help it. I am used to having your around, protecting me. It never occur to me that we would be apart,” I wailed like a child. It was embarrassing to do it, but that was how I feel. I don’t care what Nixon and Theo think. That was my love life anyway.
