Nadia’s POV

I don’t know how I managed to sleep. Okay, aside from the bed and the sheets being the best thing my body has felt in my entire life, I still don’t know how.

To think that I had even slept so well that I didn’t wake up until my mom came knocking was even more embarrassing.

I was getting too comfortable.

“Mom, you said the Blackridge Pack, you didn’t say anything about marrying some Alpha King and a royal palace,” I whined.

My mom sighed, and her forehead crinkled into a gentle frown.

“Arnold said it was best not to tell you since only the leaders of every pack were allowed to come here.”

“You met him six months ago, and you are taking his words over my feelings?”

Another sigh.

“There’s no difference, Nadia. You leaving the pack won't change. Besides, is there any pack that can compare to being here?”

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

“Being in a pack is completely different from being in some royal palace in some forbidden land that’s probably not on the map.”
