A week later.

It's been a week now and Amanda hasn't opened her eyes. I was depressed as I stared out of the windows.
She was supposed to open her eyes within four days. I sat on the seat close to her watching her day and night.
The doctors said she was healing and responding fast to the treatment.
Her heartbeat was getting better and that gladdens my heart.
Her parents gave me a call and informed me that they were in the states.
I gave them the address of the hospital and said they will be here soon.
I've lost weight, I didn't have the appetite to eat, and most times I was forced.
The doctors have removed the oxygen from Amanda's nose and said that her breathing was normal.
I was full of hope that she will be perfectly fine.

It was sunrise as the rays crept gently into my eyes."Good morning sir," A female nurse greeted making me open my eyes completely.I noticed I rested my head on Amanda's bed and still held her hands.I looked at her and she was still asleep.I smiled and kissed her hands.I looked back at the nurse and flashed her smile making her blush.I stood up to leave so that Amanda would be taken care of."Good morning Drake!" A month later,Amanda POV.I was excited cause I would be leaving this hospital finally, everyone was happy also.I was good to go although they appointed some nurses to come to check on me at home.I could see the joy on Drake's face as he pushed me on the wheelchair.I was helped to get into the car by the drivers and Drake sat beside me holding my hands.I rested my head on his shoulder and smiled brightly, I felt cared for, happy and I was glad to finally open up to him.He showed me, love, in every aspect he could and comforted me.The car stopped abruptly and Drake scooped me up in his arms carrying me in a bridal style as I wrapped my hands tightly around his neck.I felt his breath on me which was warm and driving me crazy."What's princess thinking about?" Stretching my hands wanting to feel Drake's body but felt the bedsheets instead.Still sleepy I turned to the other side using my hands to look for where he was."Drake!," I murmured.I opened my eyes and sat up immediately but there was no sign of him on the bed.I scanned the room with my eyes but I didn't see a glimpse of him."Where did he go this early?"
