Chapter 15-Are you complaining?

“Yeah…” Gian silently answered. I could see that his face turned grim for a sudden moment but smiled afterwards.  “I’m sorry, okay?”

 Now, I was not sure if I really saw that sudden moment because he was now smiling so handsomely.

And it was frustrating that I couldn’t brace myself from getting affected.

In my deep annoyance, I slammed the shopping bags towards Gian’s chest.

“There. Bring that to the laundry house, and we are good then. That would serve as your punishment, though.”

I couldn’t find a way to justify these feelings, so I must make a distraction for myself.

“That’s how it goes. You keep on maltreating me.”

“Are you complaining?”

He smiled as he scratched his nape. “I mean, I am going to the laundry house now.” And Gian cheekily salutes at me.

I just couldn’t help but smile towards this jerk.
