Chapter 36: Night 5

Simon was driving through the lit city of New York. He drove through the Empire State building, one of the tallest buildings in New York. He had been there several times at times like this, during the nighttime, to get a fascinating view of the city from above. He was browsing through his phone to locate the post notifications he had earlier received. He found Thelma's post and contained in the post was an address he was looking for.  

He dialed Thelma's number but it rang out. He tried it a second time and after a little while she answered the call. 

"Hello, who is this?" Thelma said, her voice sounding warm.
