All eyes fixed intensely on Lillian as they waited anxiously for her response. The room was filled with total tranquility, and Lily licked her bottom lip and sighed.

“Mila,” she called and averted her eyes to her. “He was the man who almost ran over me with his car the day I left home while heading to your place.” She responded, and Tessa sighed in relief.

“I thought you had once fallen victim because of his charms. Thank heavens, it is something different.” Tessa said sincerely and shoved her phone into her bag.

“Don't you think he might find it suspicious if I approach him first? Like I was totally rude to him that day, in a nutshell; we were all pissed.” Lillian uttered, and Tessa itched her nape while thinking.

“I will add whatever money you want. Please, Lily, just try it out. I promise to increase the pay to one hundred thousand dollars.” Tessa spoke and Mila gasped with wide eyes.
