Lillian smiled sheepishly while he gave a compliment on her looks. “So, tell me, do you live around here?” He asked calmly while sitting on the next stool.

Lily became stiff for a second, she was contemplating on what answer to give. “Yeah, I live around.” She replied and took a sip of her drink while praying silently for him not to ask her any other personal questions.

Lillian glanced around with her eyes and sighted most of the ladies staring towards the bar, and some were giving her a hard glare. “It seems like you're quite popular, everyone is staring at you,” she uttered and looked at him.

Carson turned his head and sighted the ladies, one of them waved at him while smiling sheepishly, and he scoffed.

“That's how they are, they stare at me all night whenever I come here to chill out.” He spoke, with a bit of pride echoing in his voice.

“I guess they can't help it. You're worth staring at.” Lillian said, and regret spilling those words out, but he heard her already.

“You think so?
