27: First Encounter
WHEN Jax returns to the cabin, he immediately sees Dione’s ‘restless’ mother. Jax frowned and walked faster when he sense there’s something wrong. And when he got there, Dianne immediately asked him.
“Jax! Didn’t you see Dione?” it asked him.
“What do you mean, Ma’am Dianne? Dione is missing?!” Jax said, his voice turned sharp. The lady put both of her hands on her face, stress. Baron approached them and hugged the worried lady.
“Dianne said that, before Dione disappeared, she asked her where you were. So, we thought that she followed where you are,” said Baron, while calming Dianne. Jax fault his self right after that, but that wouldn’t help them find Dione. So, he needs to do something.
“How long since she went missing?” Jax asked. The lady raised her head and answered Jax.

TIP-TOEING, Dione can’t still reach the curtain bar holder. When suddenly, she felt someone’s hard chest on her back and helped her put the curtain in its holder. “Let me put it.” It was Jax. After he put it, Dione just got the strength to look back. She was embarrassed earlier because it looks like he is enclosing her in its body. “T-thanks,” Dione sincerely said, can’t look into Jax’s eyes. She doesn’t know why, but his stares to her feels like it burns her. She’s feeling weird just by looking into his eyes. Jax just nodded at her and left her to take care of what he was doing, helping them put their things in their new house. The home’s exterior is a combination of windows, painted board, and mirror-polished stainless steel. It’s spacious even with the four of them, excluding Baron and Jax. Only the noise of Dione’s two siblings makes noise inside the house. They are busy with the placement of their belongings, as well as cleaning.
