Chapter 100

Landon drops to his knees, the intense pain in his head and body is draining him to a new extent. He didn't evenbfeel pain like this when he first shifted or when he almost died. Maybe Bastet felt like he is too weak to be on earth and she has come to take him back.

As another pain shoot through him he loses consciousness for a few seconds and as he come back he see Tessa and Jarek kneeling next to him. Tessa holding his head and talking but he can't hear a thing. Her voice is muffled, and tears are streaming down her face. Jarek jumps up and look panicked as he is seemingly yelling at someone.

He tries to reach out to Tessa but he is too weak and pain shoots through his body again. He convulses again and again.

'Please just let me die already' He says in his mind, making peace with leaving this world. Anywhere else would be better at this moment if he could be free of all of this pain.
