Chapter Two:

Chapter Two:

Ella sat on the ground, crying, and pleaded with Rhea to leave her be, not to tell Marcus anything. She would do anything Rhea wanted, as long as she allowed her to meet her mate. Her kohl had smudged, and her lipstick was no longer perfect. Her hair was disheveled, as if it had never been combed. Rhea looked at her from a distance, a hint of satisfaction in her eyes, and she said loudly, "What do you think, Ella? Will you refuse and leave silently like this? You're truly foolish and thoughtless."

“Why are you doing all of this? I'm your sister, not your enemy,” Ella told Rhea, feeling sad.

"As long as you've been the cause of all my beautiful and painful curves in all the right places, everyone desires you intensely, even Alpha King, but I was rejected by my mate."

Tears welled up in Rhea's eyes, and she looked so weak, nothing like her usual strong and arrogant self. She never showed compassion or sympathy, and today her tears fell like winter rain. Ella had never realized that Rhea might be jealous of her, but she was beautiful and alluring. She had a captivating smile and the most radiant face Ella had ever seen.

Ella almost started to speak, but her words were cut off by a knock on the door. Rhea dried her tears and went upstairs, while Ella headed to the bathroom. She washed her face and concealed the puffiness in her eyes from crying. She combed her hair and then went to open the door. It was only Henry, her childhood friend who was two years older than her. He entered with a cheerful face, smiling, and playfully pinched her cheek. "Today you'll meet your wolf, dear Ella, and she'll be your first rose. Tell me, how do you feel?" He said, winking.

Ella didn't want to talk because his voice sounded tired, and he seemed to sense something was amiss. She didn't say a word, but he lifted her and let out a loud cheer. Then he put her down and looked at her, a smile forming on his face. "Don't worry, the transformation isn't that painful. It will pass. You should be happy today, Ella!"

Henry took her hand and led her to the couch. He said, "I made some wonderful and delicious pastries. I woke up early this morning and I'm full of energy today."

Ella looked at Henry, appreciating all he was doing, and then said, planting a kiss on his cheek, "You're very kind, Henry. I don't know how I'll be after I leave."

His face turned red from her gentle kiss, and he turned towards her, planting a kiss on her hand, saying, "Don't worry, you'll be safe with the right mate. Maybe Rhea is in pain because you're leaving with your wolf, and I am too, but you'll be safe with her."

Ella cared about his last words. Does Rhea really do all of this because she doesn't want her to leave and leave her alone? It's nonsense; she won't do that. She just wants to get rid of her. Henry caught her attention again, saying, "You should get ready to go to the forest. You'll be at the transformation site, and the full moon will shine on you in your first rose."

Yes, Ella must be on time and wear a white dress for her first rose and enjoy this day. She looked at Henry and said with concern, "How will it be, Henry? Is it hard? I heard the pain is excruciating, and you feel like your bones are breaking mercilessly, even stripping naked and turning into a wolf on all fours."

"It's not painful, just a few minutes. You'll become a wolf and run wild and meet your true mate," Henry said, trying to reassure her.

"But what if I don't meet my mate like you, Henry, or if I'm rejected like Rhea? How will I face all of this? It's harder than I can bear," Ella said, with a hint of despair.

"In that case, you'll wait a few years to meet your true mate, and if you don't find one, you can be my special Luna, and we can become mates by choice. It's not a bad option. I'm wonderful and handsome," Henry said, winking and blushing from the heat. Ella always felt like he had a crush on her, but he was right; it's not a bad option. But will Rhea and Marcus let her go? Will everything really be fine, and will she meet her true mate, or will Alpha King make her his unwilling harlot, possibly even kill her true mate?

"I think you'll wait for a long time, Henry. But you're truly a beautiful wolf. I wonder how the girls will treat you; maybe they'll chase after you to be their special mate. Isn't that right?"

Henry laughed and lovingly said, holding her hand, "Are you feeling jealous already, Ella? But it's okay; I'll wait for the gorgeous and enchanting one. You need to get ready for the evening; I'll be with you to witness your transformation. I can't wait to see your wolf."

Ella felt a bit safer and decided to go upstairs and talk to her sister. Maybe her heart would soften, and she would reconsider selling her to Marcus for money. She'd give her everything she wanted. She'd work day and night, but she shouldn't make her a pawn for this cruel man! She isn't materialistic to that extent, and there's a secret between her and King Marcus.

Ella always felt that there was a secret she was keeping from her regarding her relationship with Marcus. At one point, she went upstairs and opened the door to her room, hearing her talking before she entered the room. She couldn't have imagined eavesdropping on this conversation. She was shocked and physically trembling, her heart nearly bursting out of her chest when she heard her last words, spoken in a low, sinister tone, filled with malice and hatred.
