I REJECT YOU AS MY MATE

I REJECT YOU AS MY MATE!

Lucious POV.

"Why aren't you in your room?!" She asked angrily, her voice filled with intense anger that shook me to my core for a brief moment.

"I won't move an inch as long as she's there, Claire! Get her out of here, right now," I stated firmly, my eyes expressing my disgust.

"You have to go to her immediately, Alpha Lucious!" She shouted, her voice sending chills down my back.

I scoffed at this point, realising that she knew my preferences very well, so why was she forcing me into this situation?

"You know how much I hate humans, Claire, and yet you brought her into my room?!" I shouted as soon as I saw Claire burst into my room.

I was beyond angry because now I not only had to deal with a human in my room every day, but I was also expected to have her as my partner.

"I don't want her here, Claire! Take her back where she came from!" I said firmly, turning away from her and walking towards the window.

I couldn't believe that Claire had brought a complete stranger into my room. It just didn't make sense to me.

"Take her back?!" She scoffed, capturing my attention once more.

Honestly, I was struggling to keep my anger in check. I knew the consequences it would bring, both to me and my inner wolf.

"What? Don't tell me you can't!" I turned to face her, crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"That's not going to occur, Lulu!" She declared, her voice filled with unwavering determination.

She was adamant about leaving the human girl in my chambers, and that was the last thing I wanted.

No matter what, I was determined to convince her to remove that wretched person from my territory.

I approached her, my steps stopping three feet away from where she stood.

She was the Pack's seer, with abilities of her own, not just a mere fortune-teller.

She had the power to turn an Alpha into stone, and she was the only seer known to possess such abilities.

"If you refuse to take her back, Claire, believe me, I will personally inflict pain on her every night, pulling at each strand of her hair until she dies screaming!" I threatened, my teeth gritting with intense disgust and irritation towards the human she had brought to me.

"You wouldn't dare, Lulu!" she retorted, making it even harder for me to stay focused.

"Could you please stop calling me Lulu? I am the Alpha now, destined to lead the Red Moon pack. I don't need some aunt and a human to make me miserable!"

I growled loudly, my heart pounding with anger and fury.

I'm sure anyone passing by my room would hear me shouting at her like this.

"Lulu is your name, and no matter what, she won't go back. She waits in your chambers, Lucious!" she asserted, about to leave. But then, I halted her in her tracks.

"You have no idea what will happen to this one, Claire... She's like, what? The sixth human bride you've brought to me. So trust me, her fate won't be any different!"

I snarled, my hands clenched at my sides as I watched her slowly turn her gaze back to me, full of menace.

I had grown accustomed to her intimidating glare, knowing she wouldn't harm me because she cared for me too much.

"Do you even know why I brought her without waiting for your approval!?" She chuckled, making me feel like a foolish Alpha.

"I don't want to know, Claire, just..." I began to say, but she cut me off mid-sentence.

"She is your mate, Alpha! She is your one and only mate! I don't know why or how I know, but trust me, you need her!"

I stared at her in disbelief as she spoke about a human being my mate. Who would believe that a human could be mated to a werewolf?

Her serious expression made me pause for a moment, but I wasn't willing to accept it.

"I don't care, and I refuse to believe such nonsense! I don't want a human in my chambers, end of story!"

"What if I tell you she's carrying your child, Lucious?" she suddenly revealed, her voice dropping to a low tone.

This time, she made sure her words wouldn't reach the ears of those outside the room.

It was a secret we needed to keep hidden from others.

"She's a human, Claire! She can't carry the child of an Alpha without being marked!" I asserted, stepping closer to her with authority.

"Just because she's human?" she smirked at me.

"That human holds the key to breaking the curse your father placed upon you. You may not see it, but I do. She carries the Moon Caller within her womb, and you must make her your mate. You must keep her close to you!"

She insisted, her voice filled with a strong desire to see me acknowledge her words.

If what she claimed was true, that the human carried a Moon Caller in her womb and could break the curse, why hadn't I sensed it?

I pondered internally, my mind racing with conflicting thoughts.

With a tight grip on my fist, I swiftly left my room, determined to see her with my own eyes.

As I entered the chambers, I found her kneeling on the floor, appearing miserable.

Humans were always fragile, and it seemed impossible that I had ever been intimate with someone like her.

She immediately met my gaze, and in that moment, I felt a shift within me.

A wave of desire coursed through my veins, overpowering the anger and frustration I had felt earlier. I was inexplicably drawn to her, and it bewildered me.

With cautious steps, I approached her, closing the distance between us. When I stood right in front of her, I gently lifted her chin with my middle finger, making her meet my eyes fully.

There was an undeniable magnetic pull between us, but I was determined to resist it. She couldn't be my mate, and I had to fight against this inexplicable attraction, no matter what.

"I, ALPHA LUCIOUS DARK, REJECT YOU AS MY MATE! YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A WEAK HUMAN, AND THAT'S NOT THE KIND OF LUNA I WANT FOR MY PACK!"

I declared, locking my intense gaze with hers. I noticed her eyes welling up with tears, and I could hear the rapid beating of her heart in response to my harsh words.
