Setting a trap
Jerika woke up to put off her alarm as put last night before going to sleep. As she tried to stand, she felt a sharp pain radiating in her head and body. She looked for medicine but found none. She realized that’s he has some back in her office. She went to the bathroom to get prepared for the day as she chose not to miss it.
“You getting ready for office?” Isabel said to Jerika rubbing her sleepy eyes.
“Yes… what are you doing getting up so early in the morning? Get some more sleep” Jerika said while fixing her hairs.
“Aren’t you tired?” Isabel asked leaning on the door to take support. Isabel was exhausted and under after effect of alcohol consumption.
“I am and mostly I am hammered from last night. Don’t know how will I get through the whole day?” Jerika said with a faint smile.
“Why don’t take a day off?” Isabel suggested.

Daulat peaked inside the room where Jerika was lying. He started at Jerika helpless lying on the bed, breathing with the help of machines. She looked in pain even in her sleep. Daulat flinched at the sight. He knew he could not surrender to his feelings but he was overwhelmed and there was no question about it. Jerika ran inside her house and then inside her room. She opened her cupboard which had a small safe in it. She opened the safe using the code only known to her and there lies a pen drive.
