''Your father told me that you came to visit him last week. You and Jason?'' my mother said.

She didn't ask it as a question but I nodded my head in response to it. This was the first time in weeks she came home and having her here with me was all I'd ever wanted. Now, i wasn't alone for now which was pending the time she went back but at least, i had her here with me.

''Yes mom, I wanted him to see the boy I was falling in love with. The boy that had helped me so much.'' I smiled.

There was a small smile on her face and I knew that she was thinking about it. As a mother, I knew she would have her reservations but when it came to Jason, I was so sure about him more than anything I could ever think of.

''Are you sure about him?'' she asked.

She sipped her coffee, closing her eyes a bit as the flavor danced around her tongue. My mother never began her day without having a cup of her favorite coffee.
