Kira's POV

I still can't believe Amber could walk, even though Xander had assured me she would heal eventually. I wasn't expecting it to be so soon and she kept it away for a while. At the same time, I was happy and much more relaxed knowing Leila's plan to wipe out my family didn't work out.

Amber, being involved in the new development of things, has me a bit worried. But, I know making a team would make it easier to get through our intentions. Because, presently we have nothing called a plan.

It makes me exhausted when I think about it. Leila has been quite distant from the pack house, even though we do talk on the phone most times. As for Declan, he is being too sweet, and it's annoying. I want to avoid having to deal with his unnecessary touches and talks.
