MasukHey guys😊 I hope you all enjoy this chapter. Like and commenttttt loves.
Malisha stays in the bathroom longer than necessary. Not because she wants to, but because the moment she leaves, she will have to face reality again. Hot water runs over her skin, but it does nothing to calm the storm that is going on inside her head. Every time she closes her eyes, she remembers Grayson in pain. Every time she closes her eyes, she sees Grayson collapsing again. The blood. And the worst part about it all is that he had smiled at her before he lost consciousness. He did everything for her and she couldn't even accept it back. She grips the edge of the sink tightly after turning off the shower. "What am I supposed to do?" she quietly asks herself. The insistent voice inside her that had vowed to make her go crazy replies, "Come to us. Accept us." Malisha looks at herself in the mirror. It is watching, waiting and patient. It believes that it is over for her. It is no longer desperate anymore. It sounds confident. It seems as though it already knos how it will
"So, I need to tell you something I found," Sage says to Malisha. Malisha immediately turns to look at him. "Does this concern the curse?" she asks. Sage nods. That makes her pause. "To reverse the curse, you need the blood of the one who put it," he says. Malisha's heart drops when she hears that. "You're serious." "I am. Your mum is aware of it as well." "If that is the condition, then how the hell are we going to get the curse removed from Grayson?" Malisha asks with worry written on her face. "The thing is we might have to track the user," Sage says. That is impossible, the voice within Malisha tells her. I told you the lycan will die unless you do the needful and come to us.Malisha freezes. Sage looks at her with worry. "Did it just speak to you?" "No," Malisha lies instantly. Sage narrows his eyes slightly at her, but he does not push it. Instead, he says, "We can try to track them, but it will be difficult." Malisha shakes her head. "You are patronizing me." "I am
*THE SAVAGES* "Do you really think your plan will work?" Eric asks Annalise. She glares at him. "Look, I have no idea if it will work. Malisha is quite strong and she does not seem stupid, but sometimes, it is evident she acts based on her emotions," she says. "What if this plan does not work?" She shrugs. "At least I brought up a plan." She turns to look at him. "Can you at least let it go through before being a negative nancy?" Eric shuts up knowing she is right. After all, he has no concrete plan which could make the curse gone from Grayson. "But even though we get Malisha, that will not make it easy for me," Eric says. Annalise looks at him waiting for him to finish what he has to say."Because I have not reversed the curse from the lycan yet." Annalise looks at him and shakes her head with disappointment on her face. "Sometimes I wonder why you do not use your brain. I suspect it is because you don't have one, but seeing it openly truly shocks me," she says. "Since you c
Malisha is deep in thought as she is outside Grayson's room. It makes her a coward and she knows it. She has not come to terms with her feelings yet neither has wanted to. So when she felt that pull, she ran away. Not because she did not want to give in to it, but because she knew she has to do something first. She has to make Grayson better. As she is deep in thought, she bumps into Sage. He looks at her and she looks at him too. "Hi," he says. "Hello." "We have not really spoken in a bit." Malisha nods. "And we definitely haven't been training." He gives her a small smile. "You do not really need it." Malisha grins and lets out a dramatic gasp. "Can you repeat that?" Sage scoffs lightly. "If you didn't get it then, I will not be repeating myself again." Malisha rolls her eyes at him. "Where are you headed?" he asks. "Just going to clear my head for a bit and try to find somethings," she replies. "How is he doing?" "He definitely has been better. He had
Malisha does not bother wasting time to use a spell to get to him. When she is in the room, Grayson's wolf turns to look at her immediately. Malisha goes straight to it. She had not met Grayson's wolf in such a setting seeing as they are not together. She goes to him and his wolf immediately softens in her arms. "He is in so much pain," Malisha mutters. Iris nods. "Should I use a spell, or do you have something to give him," Malisha asks. Iris steps closer to give her the concotion, but Grayson's wolf growls lowly as if warning her not to step any closer. Iris raises her hands in surrender and gives the concotion to Malisha. She then mutters a low healing spell to make Grayson feel better. They are still in the room when Beatrix says, "Let's leave them alone." Iris, Kimora, Mirabel and Beatrix leave Grayson with Malisha. Malisha gives his lycan wolf a small sad smile and mutters, "I truly am sorry." His wolf says nothing like Malisha expects. It takes Grayson twenty minutes
Malisha is in so much shock that she does not tell her mother or anyone what happened with John. She keeps it a secret because the last thing she will need is that. The moment she goes into the coven, she greets some people then goes straight for the secluded library. Only few had access to it. "I knew you will come here," her mother, Beatrix says. "Lord," Malisha says quietly. "Why will you sneak up on me, mum?" Beatrix rolls her eyes. "Maybe, if you were aware of your surroundings, I wouldn't sneak up on you." Malisha purses her lips in reply while Beatrix looks at her daughter with a slight frown on her face. "What's wrong with you?" she carefully asks. "Nothing," Malisha replies quickly. Too quickly. Beatrix narrows her eyes, but she does speak on it. Knowing her daughter, she was troubled, and she knew why. When Malisha was ready to talk, she would know that her mother is here for her. "Have you seen any scrolls on the curse?" her mother asks. Malisha shakes her head.
It was finally time for Grayson and his team to search the treasure coast pack. He was excited to his mate, Malisha, but he could not help feeling slightly anxious. He knew Malisha was not going to be happy to see him, and it hurt to think about that. He was going to try though because he owed it
Grayson was still in her pack, and it bothered her. Why could he not just leave her be? He was the one who rejected her, and even though he claims it is not his fault, he could have confided in her like a normal mate would have. She shrugs off thoughts about Grayson because she can no more
Malisha checks the time, and tells her friend, Mirabel goodbye. She had to leave in order to be early for family dinner although she was sure she was already few minutes late. She enters her home, and notices that her brother is glaring at someone. She turns, and sees him in their family dinn
The lycans orchestrated simultaneous inspections, aware that a guilty pack might alert others and compromise their meticulously planned ambush. Their network stretched beyond their own kind, forging alliances with rival wolf clans and even the enigmatic witches. Yet they failed to anticipate the
