RED INKEP 25: A Place to Start•• The hard pitter patter of the rain on the concrete flooring was considered a stop to activities for the day. Nobody would want to enter such a weather to get to where they were going, except that place was home. Peter with his violin bag strapped at his back and his hands in his pockets looked up at the sky like a child who was excited to receive a candy for a job well done. It was always that time of the year, let the season do its job. Linda stood beside him. "It has started raining...again."Peter smiled. "Let it shine. It is its season afterall, and it comes with a lot of cold."She was mesmerized by his endearing personality to act without pretence as he pleased on a first date. And though that was a characteristic she admired, the wide smile on his face and the excitement on it captivated her more. When he turned to look at her, the light in his eyes—it sparkled like crystals in a blocked cave. "What do you say, Linda Springdam?" He asked.
RED INKEP 26: Who dares to start a fomentation?••The big padlock was a solid steel which looked new compared to the chain rounded at the handle of the iron gates. He struggled with the lock as the key appeared bent. He managed to manoeuvre the keylock, removing the chain and closing it back. "Fucking hell! Fucking hell!" He cursed. Behind him came two big guys, taller than him with two inches. They were cladded in a black leather jacket, black beanies and black boots. In their hands, they were each holding an AR-15 with leather gloves on their hands. They each had a headlamp around their heads. They both looked around in confusion, raising their guns up to survey the premises. "Boss?" The one with a balbo beard, nicknamed Deathrow, asked with confusion on his face. He feared that he was followed. "What's up?" "Lock the gates!" Diggy furiously dropped the chain, leaving it on the ground for them to pick up, walking away towards the PEN. The rain was falling heavily and Diggy was
RED INKEP 27: You know I am no Angel, nor Devil•• Linda despite having had a wonderful evening was exhausted, and she didn't know why. To make it even worse, she had a very busy schedule the next day.She sat in her bath tub thinking about the work she would be doing tomorrow, it was going to be another hectic day. She had meetings with her group and other organizers, she wouldn't have time for herself. At this moment, she just wished she had someone assisting her with her work. She sighed. Around the edges of her tub were small fragrant candles that smelled of strawberry and cherry. The water was foamy to her skin. She looked at the foams and raised her leg up, admiring the bubbles. Some times, she found herself deviating in thoughts, thinking about her earlier date this evening. He was famous for opera and yet she never knee about it. She wasn't surprised because she definitely hated opera. But, thinking back to that night at the opera house, watching him perform was not that bo

He chose this cruiser because it was light weight and was very practical. The lamps in front of it were dim because he made it so. His eyes needed to do the seeing and any light could put his target on watch. He brought out his firearm, it was a glock 48, 9 millimeter; and he had two, the other was in his front pocket on his lap , in his black cargo pants. He wore a black face cap over his head, a black mask over his nose and mouth. He was wearing a radio transmitter earphones on before removing it and tucking it in his cargo pants. He was by the bush, where he had parked hsi car the previous night, and just as he thought, someone else was here. It wasn't their plan for it to go this way, but then, this person could also lead them to who they wanted. He had watched a fire build up in t
RED INKEP 29: Hold my Disposition•• Sai sat down in her bed, drinking the little soup that was bought for her by Clara. It was goat meat soup boiled together with mushrooms and basil, which added a tender taste to its consistency. It was satisfying her craving. Though she still had drip fixed to her hand, she was feeling better, too well. Her bodyguards had been well fed by Clara who saw the need to get them meals to eat while they were here at the hospital, since they couldn't leave their posts. Now Clara had gone out again, to get them their third meal of the day. It's been two days since she was awake and Dillion had not come to see her. What was happening? Griggs stated that he would come when he was ready to but she just wasn't prepared to be left suspended like this. She drank her last drop of soup from the plate, Crux who seemed to be the most sympathetic one among them helped her with her plate, by placing it on the fridge. "Thank you...C-ruz?" "Crux." He corrected, g

He had been Sairham's Doctor since the day she arrived in the Shaft's mansion, so he could say they were more than acquaintances. They couldn't discard each other. The first day he treated her, she was a victim of drowning. Griggs was the one who carried her to a small town hospital where she was treated. (He guessed she didn't know that, even now.) Later on, she was transferred to the Shaft's mansion where she was treated specially by doctor Hither. He had done major checkup on her and she seemed to be in good health which also surprised him.
RED INKEP 31: Where two roads shall meet•• When Aurora turned to look at the exiting back of Dillion, she was surprised to find that Griggs was also there. She looked at them both from head to their feet, assessing their clothings and shoes. When Dillion passed by her, he smelt of coconut oil and lavender. Why does that fragrance seem familiar? She was very sure she had perceived it somewhere before. Or was it not the same night he had come up to hand her Lorin's purse that she captured that fragrance? Why was he acting oblivious of the fact that they had met before? All these questions kept playing in her head. They were at the door when Hither asked Dillion, "Will you be taking the chopper?"Dillion stopped without looking back and replied, "As always." "Won't you make an appearance?" Hither asked again. Dillion smiled and said, "No." And with that, he walked out of the office to an opposite direction that Aurora could swear an entrance didn't exist in. Their shoes making tip

No one. Not even to people outside of the hospital work force. Are we in accord?" Aurora nodded. "Noted." "Once you get down, you go straight to my office and wait for me there." "Are you not coming down?" He shook his head. "Not yet. I forgot I had somethin
