Chapter 32

"Okay. Come on." Dennis led the way to his car. He opened the trunk to reveal the box containing his things.

Shana climbed inside the passenger seat and sat comfortably. Dennis handed her the box containing her belongings before taking his place behind the steering wheel.

Dennis drove slowly towards Shana's home, the radio playing soft classical music which reminded him of her. Although he wasn't sure whether or not his thoughts were correct and if he should have done more for her, he felt that he deserved at least that much. He remembered the days he was alone and felt lonely and he wondered if there was any way he could find someone to take care of him. When he was at work, he usually kept himself busy and tried to avoid thinking about the fact that the person who would always be at his side will go left him.

Shana looked outside the window as Dennis drove.

The roads were empty. There were only the occasional cars and pedestrians walking along the sidewalks. Cars passed one another
