Another Way

Selene's POV

It's were more than two weeks in the room my father had moved me to. Depriving me from water and meals only once per day.

During this time, my mind wandered a lot to my late mother. Having only painful memories of the few moments we spent together, I tried to shut the thought of her from filling my mind.

Thankfully, Lucy came to my room a few times to see me. Sometimes, she sneaked in chocolates and snacks to my room and for that, I was grateful.

I looked into the wall in my room, watching the moon which had reflected inside it. The stars twinkled happily just beside it and I smiled.

The moon reminded me of the moon goddess, her strength, bravery and rulership. She had been the pair of mates, and the ruler of all wolves.

Unconsciously, my mind wandered to mate, Alpha Damon. I couldn’t forget the instant my blue eyes met his green orbs, something sparked inside of me and my wolf whispered 'MATE', confirming my feelings.

A part of me was happy, elated that I had
