Jessica POV It had been a couple days since the attack. It was like we were being tested. The night of the fight and then the waiting. Nobody had let their guard down. We were all on edge, but knew we had to be diligent. We would not risk losing anyone else. We had buried the warriors we had lost. It had been a difficult experience. Knowing these brave men and women had fought for something they believed in, and had lost, was painful for me.
