A few more months have passed and Ambrose still hasn't woken up despite being much more responsive than before. Matthew was slowly losing hope and he was starting to accept that Amrbsoe may no longer be part of their life. He was getting overwhelmed with taking care of two infants as well. Melanie, Lucas, and Michael have come over a few times to offer help whenever he had to be present at work.

Melanie suggested hiring a nanny but Matthew was scared that he might end up being too complacent with the nanny and slowly neglect his duties as a father. As his work and children became more demanding, he finally caved and hired two after rigorous background checks. Matthew still felt guilty for not being there for his children when he was at work and his coming home when his children are asleep is definitely not helping.
