LOGINYsabelle's POV“Ysa… someone is after us.”Parang biglang umikot ang mundo ko. His words echoed inside my head, mabagal pero masakit, as if each syllable carried a weight I wasn’t prepared to carry.“S-someone? As in… tao? Galing saan? Bakit tayo?” My voice cracked, halatang nanginginig kahit pilit kong pinapakalma ang sarili ko.Evan held my elbows, grounding me, steadying me. His fingers were cold, but his gaze was burning with something deeper—fear… and guilt.“I’ve been trying to keep you safe,” he whispered. “Pero hindi ko na pwedeng patagalin pa. You deserve to know.”I swallowed hard. “Tell me, Evan. Please… tell me everything.”He looked at the man standing guard near the door—a tall built guy, wearing an earpiece, alert, nakikinig sa kalsada ng bawat ingay sa hallway. Mukhang trained, parang bodyguard or security. Matteo must have sent him.Evan exhaled shakily. “We only have a few minutes before we need to move again.”He guided me to sit on the small couch inside the staff
Ysabelle's POVThe darkness swallowed the lobby whole. His voice cracked slightly—halatang pinipigilang mag-panic.Napalunok ako, trying to adjust my sight through the thick shadows. The murmurs grew louder. May nagtatakbuhan. May nagkukumpulan. “Love… ano ba talaga ‘to?”Hindi siya sumagot agad. Instead, he scanned the area—shoulders tense, jaw tight, eyes sharp kahit madilim. May hinahanap siya. O may iniiwasan? A hotel staff approached us quickly.“Sir, ma’am, please stay calm. Our generators will activate soon—”Pero hindi pa siya natatapos magsalita, biglang nag-ring ang phone ni Evan. M
Ysabelle’s POVEvan sighed. He is currently talking to Matteo on the phone, asking for help to check for the security upang walang makakaalam sa whereabouts namin. For now, we were advised to extend our stay here in Dubai upang maging ligtas. This should be a good news for us to have an extension but it has a different reason behind it na hindi naman dapat ikatuwa iyon. It was quite intense. “Okay… yes, please. Thanks, Matteo.” He turned off the call frustratingly at lumapit sa bintana while breathing some air. I walked towards him to help him calm down kahit maraming tanong ang bumabagabag sa aking isipan ngunit I refrain to ask those. Wala sa isipan kong magdagdag ng kahit anumang kasamaang posibleng mangyari sa amin, I just want to make him feel that I will be always standing with him kahit delikado buhay ko rito pag kasama ko siya. “Ysa…” I hummed to respond at him, nakadungaw pa rin ito sa bintana. His hazelnut brown eyes go visible as the reflection of the sunlight meets him.
“I will go to the washroom first,” I whispered to him. Naramdaman kong agad niya akong binitawan nang dahan-dahan habang ang atensyon pa rin nito ay nasa phone pa rin, umiigting ang panga and he was clenching his fist on his pants. Here comes the tension, the shift, the worry. The Brunei sun cast a glow on his face — beautiful on the outside but on the inside, there is a hidden darkness. “Lunch na tayo?” I asked softly. “Uhh, y-yeah, yeah sure… Sorry, may ini
Ysabelle’s POV The morning starts just perfectly. Gumising ako nang walang iniisip, walang problema at walang nakakabagabag sa aking damdamin. It is just waking up with another life. I felt his arms loosely wrapping on my waist as he was sleeping peacefully, his hot breath crossing on the crook of my neck which made me feel relaxed and comfortable that finally, I’m home — he is my home. I called the information desk through the telephone to request some coffee and breakfast for the two of us. When the breakfast finally arrived, nagtimpla muna ako ng kape habang nararamdaman ko ang mapreskong simoy ng hangin. The scenery of Brunei is something that I want to cover. Maliban lang sa m
Ysabelle’s POVTila naging maligalig ang buong bahay. Everyone was busy roaming around, others were tending to check and prepare those materials and things to be brought for something important at this point. The team seems to be stressing out when there are lost pieces of accessories and other stuff ngunit hindi na lang ako umiimik. I am not good in organizing events. But despite the busy atmosphere, it is not a bad stress though, it was a happy stress especially that it is something special. I heard a knock on the door and it creaked open — si mommy. “Hey, love.” She hugged me on the side, her cheeks touched with mine and closed her eyes while savoring the moment.
