Chapter 61: Family Day

Adriel sighed in relief as they finally achieved peace and quiet inside the car. After their touching conversation, Zenon got bored, so they were blasting nothing but nursery rhymes through the car's speakers for a good hour.

As much as Adriel loves her son, there are really only a number of Cocomelon songs that she can tolerate.

"Johnny, Johnny, yes, papa?" Zeth unconsciously hummed, making Adriel glare at him.

He chuckled. "What?"

"You better not sing that song again, or else."

"Or else what?" he asked, still chuckling.

"I might take back the words I said yesterday night, and you could find somebody else to sing those songs too," she threatened.

Zeth's eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly shut his mouth close—afraid that she was going to take her threat seriously.

"How long until we get there?" Adriel asked.

"About an hour more."

Adriel nodded her head and glanced back at her child. She's happy that he can rest for an hour more before they arrive at the beach.
