10- Enormous pain

Mirabel's Pov

I tried to look suprised and act like I didn't know about his proposal,

"he proposed to her so cute" people around her said.

"Oh, what a beautiful day it is" i murmured as I made my way into the kitchen to call Dwane.

"Hey" he said coldly

"Dwane what's wrong I've been calling you , for a while you haven't been picking up my call" I asked.

After some minutes of rumbling from his side "Ive been busy Mira" he said

"Too busy, for me" I asked again not liking the tone

"It's not about you right now Mira and you know that" he replied

I decided to not pester him anymore maybe he was tired from all the meetings he has had

"Dexter just proposed to mom" I told him

"Yeah right nice joke Mira" he said laughing

After a minute of silence from my end to show how serious I was about it.

"Wow you are serious, how, when, that's great congratulations to them" he said

"When do you want us to get married b" he asked

"Really" I said

"Yeah, i want to have a baby with you and build a family tog
