POV Willow
My stomach dropped as we walked into the room. Jake and Sam just stared for a moment before Jake rushed towards me.
"Thank you, Livia. Would you join us?" he asked her politely as he grabbed my hand.
She paused and looked towards me. I sent her a pleading look and she sighed but nodded slightly.
"Of course." she agreed.
I was forever grateful to her. I knew that this must be difficult, sitting in a room with the mate who mistreated you and his evil cousin and the girl your mate wanted to leave you for but I just couldn't face the two of them by myself.
{She's loyal to you already.} Nox said and I agreed.
{She doesn't deserve this.} I replied.
{None of us do. Her poor wolf is suffering so much. Thankfully, she's strong and I think she would survive a rejection or if Sam died.} Nox informed me.
{Good because he's not going to get away with this.} I vowed and I felt Nox agree.
{Tell her wo
POV WillowI sat for a moment in disbelief. I tried to process what I was just told. Could my parents be this underhanded as to keep this from me for my entire life? Were they really manipulating me from the start? Would my child really be that strong? "You're lying." I spat as I stood. Both Jake and Sam smirked. Jake joined us in standing as Sam leaned closer to me."I'm sorry sweetie but it's true." Sam insisted.I stared at him, not being able to discern if he was lying or not.{Is he telling the truth?} I asked Nox.For a moment their was silence but then she spoke.{I don't know. He's telling the truth about your ancestors and most multicolored wolves don't end up with their mates but that's just because multicolored wolves are so powerful and suspicious and most males don't appreciate that in a mate. He might of told Jake this so if he isn't able to take you from him ear
POV WillowA chill ran over my entire body as I stared at Livia. She nodded and stood, then she knelt in front of me. I furrowed my brow at her."I, Livia Greene, cut all pack ties to the Moonstone pack and pledge my loyalty and life to you, Willow and your pack. I vow to protect and obey you for the rest of my days." She said seriously.I stared at her in disbelief as I felt a whisper of magic surround me. It was so slight that I would have missed it if it wasn't so silent and quiet.Livia looked up at me, waiting.{Accept her. Like an Alpha would.} Nox prodded and I nodded, remembering the words my Dad would say to new pack members."I, Willow Oak, accept you Livia Greene as a member of my pack. I vow to protect and take care of you for the rest of my days." I replied and I felt the magic settle on us.Livia grinned but her smile dropped as we heard footsteps in the hall.{They will drug you. Don't fight it a
POV WillowI awoke with a frantic jerk. I sat up in a panic and looked around. I was still in the room that Jake and Sam had me in before, my clothes were still on and I didn't feel pain anywhere. After I went through my checklist, I started to sort through my brain to figure out what had happened and what was going to happen. Livia! She was going to link Lee. Jake drugged me! I had to find Livia and make sure that she had gotten a hold of Lee and the others. I tried to link him myself but whatever they had drugged me with must have still been swimming in my bloodstream, making me too weak to do anything. I couldn't even contact Nox.I tried to stand and found myself wobbling and falling back on the bed just as the door opened. I looked up hoping to see Livia but was disappointed to see Jake instead. He rushed over to me with a look of concern."You shouldn't be up, Willow. The drugs will make you weak for another f
POV WillowI gasped and held onto Livia as the world swirled around. She held me tightly as everything went black for a second and then came back into laser focus. I looked into Livia's eyes and she smiled at me, gently.{There. That's better, right?} she asked me in the mind link. I sighed finally feeling strong again and nodded.{Nox?} I called.{I'm here. I'm okay.} she assured me and I felt relief wash over me. It was unnerving to not feel Nox. She was a part of me.Livia shut off the bath tap and gestured for me to undress and get into the water. I did
POV WillowI had just finished linking when the maids finished with my hair and make up."It's time for the dress, Luna" one of them said as another one brought the bad towards us.She unzipped the dress and my breath caught, then I cringed.Don't get me wrong, the dress was lovely. It was a real princess gown complete with a full, huge skirt and sparkling diamonds. It looked fit for Disney.I hated it. Every inch of it. It was light pink which just wasn't my color in any way, shape or form. I'm sure that there are tons of girls that would love this dress and look wonderful in it but I sure wasn't one of them. I looked over at Livia who shrugged."Maybe it will look better once you put it on." she suggested.I sighed and nodded. It didn't.If anything, it looked worse. I mean, I looked nice, maybe beautiful even, but I didn't look like me. I looked like a version of me that I was trying to avoid
POV Willow "We are waiting for a few more to arrive and then we'll get started" Sam announced. He and Jake began talking, ignoring me completely. I studied the crowd as we waited. Most of the stares back at me looked defeated and broken. My heart ached for them. I caught Livia's eye and she nodded.{Do you want to save them?} she asked me in our link.{Of course I do.} I replied.{So, I haven't been entirely truthful.} she began and I became nervous. Was she betraying us?{When Sam's parents began their research about you, my parents were the pack librarians. They were the ones to find anything in the ancient books about multicolored wolves. Even back then, my parents didn't agree with the way the pack was being led so they held some key information back. They even went as far as to give them some misleading information about your kind. After Sam murdered my parents for treason, I cleaned out their house and found so
Trigger warning: violence, deathPOV WillowI turned to the two men that had put not only my life at risk but the lives of everyone I cared about at risk as well as torturing and killing countless innocents along the way.{They have to pay. We NEED to make them pay} Nox growled in a rage I had never felt from her before.I understood it though. Our blood was calling for justice. Justice for our loved ones and for all our new pack members. They deserved to have that. They've suffered for so long. For entirely too long.I stalked towards them still in my human form. I could feel my anger and power rolling off me in waves. Jake spotted me and froze while Sam was still on his knees feeling the pain of having so many pack members cut ties with him at once. Jake looked around for help and when he didn't find it, he rose his hands at me in a pleading manner."Please, Willow. It's me. You know me. You love me.
POV DeanI watched as Livia spoke to Willow. I had never paid much attention to Livia the few times I had met her she had seemed shy and quiet. Sam had introduced her as his mate but I had never seen them touch or act as normal mates. Now, I saw the tell tale signs of abuse and wondered how I could have missed them. They were obvious. I felt the guilt of not helping her sooner. After Livia spoke to her, Willow's face hardened with resolve. She looked at Devon next to her who nodded. The bond between brother and sister seemed to have solidified in a few moments and I knew that they were going to support each other no matter what."Are the Hunters and Warriors that were still loyal to Sam all taken care of?" Willow asked in a commanding voice I had never heard from her."Yes, Alpha. They are all dead. None of them would admit defeat so we were forced to kill every on of them." one of the Moonstone pack warriors replied respect
