Chapter 6 Condemn

Sarah 

I looked at the wine or should I say the water that Lorenzo drank yesterday, I grabbed the bottle and a glass cup and left, I just don't understand why water would be packaged in such a way that it would mislead someone into thinking that it's wine, I got back downstairs and met her sitting down, humming a melody for my baby, I smile cause at least there's one person from the Apollio's that genuinely like me, I can already feel it that they are one hell of a strong family. 

“Here mam” I stretch forth the glass of water to get while I dropped the bottle on the table, she looked at me and smiled as she took the water and sip from it,

“Something is burning, are you cooking?” 

Immediately she said that my mind went back to the meal I was making. I quickly ran into the kitchen and turned off the gas, shit! I almost forgot I had something on fire, the whole food was already burnt. 

“Are you okay?” She asked standing by the door, she didn't walked into the kitchen cause of the baby she was carrying, 

“Hmmm, it was just the food that burnt it's a good thing we noticed early”

“What would you eat, the food is already burnt?”

“Ohh Lorenzo made breakfast before he left” 

“Lorenzo made breakfast?” She asked like it's her first time hearing of that, 

“Hmm, is there a problem?” 

“Of course not” She smiled and left.

I spent the rest of the day with the lady and she was so amazing, I thought she was going to be staying with us but I was surprised when left saying that she'll be back tomorrow, 

At first I didn't notice the car she came with not until she was leaving I realized she drove a Pagani and was accompanied by two other SUVS the more I try to understand this family the harder it becomes for me, if a godmother can drive such a luxurious car and have a whole bunch of security escorting her, what more would happen when I meet Lorenzo’s family, why do I feel like it's not going to be an easy one.

It was finally night time, and my baby has fallen asleep, I was still awake waiting for Lorenzo to return cause I made dinner, I was sitting in the living room watching the news, though I was beginning to feel sleepy but I have not had dinner, I'm waiting for him to come back so we can eat together. 

I saw flashlight of Lorenzo driving in, some parts of the mansion are transparent so one can actually see from it, I adjusted my sitting position and waited for him to come in, I heard the opening sound of the door and the next minute he walked in, he was looking so gallant and sexy just like the General he is, 

“You're back” I said and stood up, 

“Hmm” Was the only thing he said to me, and continue walking

“I made dinner” 

“I already had one” He said without even turning back, I sighed and stared at the food in the dining, I spent so much time in making them and he did not even glance at them, I angrily went to the dining sat down and began to devour the food even when I filled up I didn't stop I continued eating but at some point I couldn't eat anymore so I stopped, and carried them back to the kitchen, I trash the left over and wash the dishes, I switched of the light and went to bed.

I was already drinking water every time in the middle of the night so I was sleeping and became thirsty as usual, I left the room and went downstairs to go grab water from the kitchen but then I noticed the lights of the kitchen were on which was kind of weird cause I remember turning them off before going to bed, 

I gently walked up to the door and peep to see who it was but I was surprised seeing Lorenzo, he was eating the food I left in the pot, I cleared my throat as I walked into the kitchen, it's more like he already knew that I was watching him cause he did not even react, I walked to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. 

I took a gulp from the water, and glance at him again, I really wanted to start a conversation but why can't I, 

“Uhm I….”

“About what happened yesterday, it's nothing to me, I saw that you wanted it and helped you out, it meant nothing to me and, you're only here because we have a deal, I hope you don't forget about that, we can help satisfy each other but no strings attach and I don't want you to catch feelings or have any thoughts in mind, you're not my type of woman, and will never be, so know your place and don't cross boundaries” 

I was caught shut and I've never been so embarrassed in my entire life before, how can he say all that to me without thinking of how I'm going to feel, 

“I wanted to ask about your God mother, how can you say all these to me without even thinking about how it will hurt me”

“Sarah Louise, ex wife to Williams Louise, you recently got divorced by your husband’s family and was cast out because you were found with another man in bed” 

His expression right now might be void but why do I feel like he's mocking me

“You carried out a background check on me?” 

“Are you that easy? You just open your legs for any man, how can you be…”

“Enough! If you want me to leave your house please be respectful and say it, but I'm not going to allow you to stand there and insult me” 

“Am I lying? It was the same thing yesterday, you begged for it” 

“I'm done talking to you” I dropped the bottle of water back in the fridge and turned to leave, 

“I hate your type of women the most, those that cannot stick with one person” 

I ignored him and hurried back to my room but as soon as I got in and met my son crying, I carried him in my arms and burst into tears, 

How could he say all that to me, he don't even know my story why would he judge me like that, I know I was supposed to be comforting my baby but why am I crying louder than him, seeing how I was crying, my baby boy became quiet and was just staring at me, 

I'm tired baby, what do I do, mummy is tired.
