KAELION POV

Today was one of the days that reminded me of Misha.

It was my birthday.

I had everything all planned out, I was supposed to propose to her but here I was instead, drowning all my sorrows with alcohol.

I wanted to spend the day alone by myself, just me and my memories of Misha.

“We have a problem, Kaelion,” I heard Jackson say as he stormed into the office.

“I want to be left alone,” I muttered, looking up at him.

My office was the only place that had the fewest memories of Misha. It was the main reason I was in here.

“Some of the pack members think Seliora shot Lexi with an arrow,” Jackson stated.

“What!” I exclaimed.

It had been one thing or the other since I brought her over from her pack.

“How is that even possible? Where would she find an arrow?” I asked, standing up.

“She was earlier at the pack house and was almost attacked by the pack members. I didn't tell you this because I knew you wanted to be left alone,” Jackson answered as I moved closer to him.
