JADE'S POV:

I saw the demon lord in a different light today.

Alvina urged me to go to his room and give him food because he hasn't eaten all day.

I hesitated at first, but she sat me down and explained briefly to me what the demon lord has gone through.

“Jade, my brother used to be so very cheerful and he spreads happiness everywhere he goes”.

“But tragedy occurred, his better half fell ill. And he wasn't able to heal until the day she died”.

“My brother was so attached to her. They were childhood sweetheart and they were inseparable”.

“When she died, my brother died with her. It was recently when my grandma attempted to kill herself that my brother decided to move on and get married”.

JADE’S POVA month had passed since the war ended. And since my Dad died. The scars of battle were slowly healing, both on the land and in our hearts. The villa was quieter now and also peaceful. But today wasn’t about sorrow.Today was about grand peace.I stood by the garden balcony, looking at the sky painted with soft gold and pink. The flowers were finally blooming again. Kieran’s arms wrapped gently around me from behind.“Still thinking about him?” he asked softly.I nodded. “I miss Father every day.”Kieran kissed the side of my neck. “He’s watching us, Jade. I can feel it.”Before I could reply, I heard footsteps and laughter coming from the front gate. Selene and Gina had arrived with their parents. She told me yesterday that she would be coming with them.Kieran smiled faintly. “Looks like we have visitors.”We walked to meet them. Selene’s mother was already in tears before she even reached me.“Jade,” she said softly, holding her hands together, “we came to ask for your

Every breath I took came out as a growl. She stood before me, her eyes glowing like cold fire, her black wings spread wide. “You’ve lost everything, Kieran,” she sneered. “Even your beloved Jade.”At her words, a deep rage tore through my chest. My wolf roared, and lightning cracked across the sky.“I’ll make you pay for everything you’ve done!” I shouted, my voice trembling with fury.Ariel raised her hand and hurled a storm of black energy at me. I blocked it with my wings, but the force sent me crashing through the ruined pillars. The ground shook when I landed. She laughed. “You’re strong, but you fight with your heart. That’s why you’ll always lose.”I stood again, my body burning with power. “No, Ariel. You’re wrong.” I glared at her, my eyes glowing gold. “Love makes me stronger.”Before she could reply, I lunged forward. My claws slashed through her shield, and she staggered backward. She screamed, dark fire spilling

METATRON'S POV:The battlefield had fallen into chaos, steel clashing, beasts roaring, and lightning splitting the blood-red sky. But all of it faded from my mind the moment I saw my daughter's lifeless body on the ground. She lay motionless on the ground, her body covered in blood, her face pale and serene as if she were only sleeping. For a moment, I couldn’t move. I couldn’t breathe. My knees hit the ground before I realized I’d fallen. “No…” My voice cracked like thunder. “No, no, no!”I gathered her lifeless body in my arms. Her hair slipped through my fingers, soft and cold. I pressed my forehead against hers, trying to feel her soul but there was nothing.“Jade,” I whispered, shaking her gently. “Wake up, my child… please.”But silence answered me.All around me, the battle still raged. Kieran’s roar shook the heavens, his three beasts, had merged into one monstrous form. His crimson eyes burned with fury as he faced Ariel.“Jade!” Lotus’s voice broke beside me. She stumbled to

One moment, laughter filled the air; the next, screams echoed as shadows slithered in from the windows like living smoke. She and Melanie hovered above the courtyard, their robes fluttering like torn banners, eyes glowing red. Lightning danced behind them, carving their silhouettes into the night.Fear spread through the crowd like wildfire. The guests, the werewolves and the nobles scattered in panic. The scent of burning magic filled the air.I turned to Kieran. “Get Manuel out of here!”He nodded sharply and barked orders. “Elric, take the boy! Protect him with your life!”As Elric rushed Manuel toward the west wing, Ariel landed gracefully, her smile wicked.Beside her, Melanie mirrored the expression, eyes gleaming with the thrill of destruction.“Well,” Ariel said, sitting on a fallen throne like a queen in ruins, “aren’t you going

LOTUS POV:During the reunion, I noticed the sadness in Jade's face when Kieran mentioned her son, Manuel. I don't want my sister to be sad anymore, I made up my mind to give her what she wanted the most and that's to see her son normal again. It had been years, centuries even, but seeing Jade and Mabel again filled my heart with a joy I never thought I’d feel again. My sisters. My blood. When everyone went back inside, I wanted to talk to Jade, so she took me to the garden, the grass brushed against our feet as we walked.“You’re quiet,” I said softly.Jade forced a smile. “I’m just… thinking.”I tilted my head. “About Manuel, right?”She looked at me, startled. “You noticed?”I chuckled lightly. “You forget, sister. I can feel emotions as easily as you breathe.”Jade sighed, running her fingers through her hair. “He’s in so much pain, Lotus. I see him, and I just…” her voice broke. “I wish I could fix everything.”I touched her arm gently. “Don’t worry, Jade. By tomorrow morning, y

SELENE'S POV The sun was warm on my skin as Gina and I strolled through the park. Her laughter echoed through the air, light and pure, chasing away the shadows of my thoughts. For once, everything felt peaceful. Just me and my daughter, living like normal people.“Mommy, push me higher!” Gina called from the swing, her small hands gripping the chains.I smiled. “Hold tight, sweetheart.” I gave the swing a gentle push, watching her hair dance in the wind. Her giggles filled my heart with warmth I hadn’t felt in years. That’s when I saw a familiar figure.Lucian He was standing by the fence, hands in his pockets, wearing that calm smile that always managed to make my chest tighten.“Lucian?” I called, surprised. He looked up and smiled wider. “Hey, Selene. I was just passing by and saw you two. Didn’t expect to find you here.”I rolled my eyes playfully. “You always seem to ‘just pass by’ wherever I am.”He chuckled, walking closer. “Maybe it’s fate.”I ignored the heat that rose to
