Joanna's POV;

I had been living with Sebastian and had also learned to accept the intimacy he was having with me at night. Though, it hurt to see him being with another woman during the day but there was nothing I could do. I was just another powerless and helpless Breeder who had no one by her side. I cursed my step father for making me go through this! He had gambled with my life and future, making my hatred for him deepen further.

I was in the backyard of Sebastian's exclusive house, doing menial jobs when I heard the familiar taunts behind me.

"Well..well...well, if it isn't the slut!" Mitchell, Sebastian's cousin who always found joy in hurting me spoke up first. I believed I had grown immune to her insults but it would be a lie if I said her words still weren't hurting me.

"What do you want, Mitchelle?" I sighed, uprooting the stems of weeds. It wasn't that the pack didn't have a gardener but this was also part of my punishment.

"She's so weird! Looking like a slut with her innocent face. It's high time she carries a bastard in her stomach!" Another voice said.

Hearing this, my eyes went red with anger. I could take any insult thrown at me but not at my baby!

With my body shaking in anger, I turned around, with my fangs threatening to come out and my claws out, I slashed my hand across the face of Mitchell's friend.

"Don't you f*cking call any of my child a bastard!" I yelled with so much anger in me. I didn't know where I got the strength but I was loving the feeling of having the upper hand for once In my life.

"Haaa!"

Screaming helplessly, I watched as she fell on her butt while pointing at me with a horror stricken face. All I could see was the bloodied face of her friend who looked like she'd pass out any minute.

By now, I could hear the murmurs of the pack members around me. I knew we now had an audience.

"See! She is nothing but a curse to this pack! She hurt one of us! She must die!" I heard one of the member yell from the crowd. If only I wasn't carrying a life In me, I'd have gladly accepted my death but no, I couldn't watch my baby die before she came to this world.

"Seize her! Seize her!" They began chanting.

I desperately wanted to scream and tell them I did nothing!

I wanted to defend myself but from the corner of my eyes, I saw the guard who had always been watching me shake his head and made a motioning sign of sealing his lips. This brought confusion to me and in my state of confusion, I suddenly felt two strong hands grip each of my arms as they dragged me towards the Alpha's office.

I fought to free myself but who was I?

A weak and pregnant breeder fighting against two strong guards. How none of these werewolves knew I was pregnant was beyond me.

I helplessly allowed them to drag me to Sebastian's office. From the little time I had spent with him, he seemed to have started showing little feelings towards me. I had the certainty that he'd definitely listen to whatever had happened.

I was aware I had attacked first but I wasn't going to let anyone talk about my unborn baby rudely!

Standing before the magnificent doors of Sebastian's office, I felt my breath hitch as his scent hit me.

This was the scent I had always craved for day and night. It took all of my restraints not to howl out and yell "MATE!"

"What brings you here?" His cold voice jolted me from whatever fantasy I was having.

Before I could speak up, the door to his office was banged open and in walked his supposed mate.

Swinging her hips from side to side and clad scantily, I watched as Sebastian didn't take his eyes off her as he stared at her with so much affection. I wished that cold man would stare at me that way! He was all I wanted. Right from when I was young, I had always been dreaming of having a small happy family of my own where I'd be accepted for who I was. None of the packs I had been to have done that. All because of my weird appearance.

I vividly remembered when I was in highschool. This fateful day, I was cornered by bullies, the typical bad girls who were disgusted by me. They had all come with scissors to cut short my hair.

I gladly sat my butt down and allowed them do it because I had also grown tired of my white hair which was always haunting me.

Minutes later, they all hastily ran away from me, calling me a freak. I had touched my hair and realized it had grown longer than before. This was definitely not normal!

"Cousin! You must kill her! She injured one of ours. She almost killed my friend!" Mitchelle yelled in a sultry voice.

Seeing how she behaved around Sebastian, I truly wondered if they were cousins or not because she was definitely not acting like one.

Indeed, I definitely injured her friend but I in no way almost killed her!

"No..I-," I was cut off as the door was pushed open again. This time, I watched as a lady whose face was covered in blood walked in. The sight of her made my stomach churn.

"Who the hell is this?" Sebastian's supposed mate asked.

Good question! This was the first thing she'd say that I'd agree with.

"This is what that freak did to my friend!" Mitchell yelled, pointing at me.

Now I was confused. This was definitely not her friend whose face I had slashed. It was definitely not worse to this extent.

Before I could speak, I noticed the twinkle in Mitchell's eyes as she stared at me. I needed no one to tell me that she was plotting against me once again.

No matter what I said, I knew no one would listen to me and right now, I believed Sebastian would definitely stand in my favor.

"What happened?"

This was the first time I heard Sebastian speak calmly regarding what concerned me. Formerly, he always had an impatient expression on his face but now, he was calm. Seeing this, I clung unto the ray of hope he was giving me.

"We were only walking and having a conversation when this b*tch suddenly attacked her!" Mitchelle lied smoothly and my mouth fell open. If it wasn't because I was still being held down by the guards, I would have attacked her immediately.

"I have people that can attest to this. They were all there when it happened!" Mitchelle continued. Then and there, I knew I was doomed because there was no way anyone would stand up for me!

Sebastian, my mate and the father of my unborn child was my only hope now.

"Is that true?" Sebastian asked. I noticed his voice had gone cold making me shiver in fear.

It took all the courage in me for me to raise my head and stare at him in the eye.

'Help me!' I pleaded in my heart to anyone who could hear me.

"Yes Alpha, I was there when it happened!"

"Me too!"

"Kill her! She's a danger to us!"

They all yelled and I felt my ear ring.

"She was sold to me." Sebastian spoke up and it grew silent. My eyes flew wide open as I stared at him in hope. He was saving me!

"Alpha, with due respect, you can get many more ladies better than her. She is just a tool to this pack and nothing more. She doesn't mean anything to you Alpha, does she?" No one had dared to question the cruel Alpha aside this crazy elder I hated with passion.

Now, I awaited Sebastian's reply. My heart was threatening to escape as I watched in anxiousness, my chest hitching.

I watched as Sebastian's eyes scanned the little crowd before him, his eyes only held mine for few seconds before he bowed his head, writing on a piece of paper.

"There is my judgement," He said, flinging the paper to the crowd who immediately cling unto it.

"Yes! Thank you Alpha. She is to be killed tomorrow morning!"

These words were like a bullet going through my chest. I didn't feel the hot tears streaming down my face as I stared at the monster who was currently smiling at his mate.

Now, I realized I was truly nothing but a tool to him! A tool he had used and taken as he pleased and I had foolishly believed he cared.

I was taken away to the prison where criminals were kept. It was a vast difference from the one I was formerly kept in.

I was going to die tomorrow and there was nothing I could do!

She didn't need to be told that was happening to her was no ordinary thing."Mother this isn't normal....," Joanna whispered to her mother while the latter nodded her head in understanding. " I know sweetheart and I believe the only person with such immense power, able to do this to you is none other than Celine, she who you've been in contact with" Stella explained to Joanna who now had an incredulous look on her face."Waaaa....," Alan's loud cry of pain was enough to snap Joanna out of her thoughts. Balling her fists by her side, she slowly removed herself away from. the group, moving slowly towards the witches."What did you do to me and my son?" She hissed, glaring straight at Celine. "Hm, you know what annoys me the most about you? You act like the superior one, walking like everyone is below you. I hate you," Celine seemed to have lost control as she raised a knife in the air,

  • SOLD TO THE CRUEL ALPHA    War for Alan

"Who's next?" Swinging his sword on his shoulder, Elias smiled. Immediately, the young witches stepped backwards in fear, too scared to put to practice the spell they had been taught. "Cowards!" Helen's mother yelled as she came to stand in front of them. "Give up Joanna and we would let her baby go!" She yelled loudly, staring at Elias straight in the eye. Her thoughts were unknown but just as they all thought, Alan was being used as a bargaining chip."How do you expect us to give her up when her son is nowhere in sight?" Mark hissed, glaring at the witches who looked like a colony of ants. Unhappy with what was said by Mark, Helen's mother glared at him but the young Beta didn't flinch. He couldn't be bothered with the nuisance of a witch and was more bothered about Joanna and his mate. He couldn't see Helen too which further made him on edge but he couldn't show it for fear of alerting the enemies. Slowly, Celine walked out from behind the forest, standing right behind the c

Before the coven of witches arrived, the Red moon pack members all arrived safely, with none of the members missing. They were all ushered into Alasdair's home which already contained the Blue moon pack members. "Joanna, you need to stay in. I promise, we would rescue your son and bring him back to you," Sebastian spoke, finally braving up to speak to her."No, stay out of my way. This is my fight," Joanna hissed while he immediately retreated."No, this is our fight!" Mark yelled as he threw his fist into the air."Fine, just be safe," Sebastian gave up stopping her while Joanna ignored his words.Mark was carried outside, behind the flowers where his body was hidden. This was a big risk they had all taken to ensure he'd get back to normal as soon as they spotted Helen, the one who put him in this condition.Althea who had also been locked in Alasdair's house during the previous battle was allowed to join the fight. • SOLD TO THE CRUEL ALPHA    Preparation

Upon waking up, Joanna realized she had fallen asleep right in the living room just as Elias had spoken."What was that? Please don't tell me you fell asleep while he was talking?" Aric groaned, trying to restrain his laughter but it was fruitless."Hm, de.. definitely not. I just had something to think of. For how long was I out?" Joanna awkwardly questioned, hoping to change the topic as soon as possible. "Sure, no one here is a fool. We were all able to tell you fell asleep for what...? Slept for a total of 15 minutes. I mean, who does that?" Aric continued to sass when Joanna had to keep her mouth shut despite ber shock. She couldn't help but wonder how she was able to have that type of dream in this situation making her seem like she was deranged and had no conscience. If anyone amongst them knew of the dream she just had, Joanna was sure she was going to be eaten by them. She peeked a glance at her mother, hoping to catch the slightest bit of reaction from her to see if she ha

  • SOLD TO THE CRUEL ALPHA    Bad timing

Joanna's POV;I didn't need to be told that I was yet again dreaming in the midst of war. Moreover, why do my dreams always have to be wet dreams I knew would never be fulfilled. Was Sebastian sweet? Definitely not. Was Elias sweet? I really didn't know. Was Alasdair sweet? Yes, but then, why was it that my dream wasn't about him? Everytime I closed my eyes to sleep, I was always ending up in Dreamland. Have I been cursed? I didn't know but then, I recalled something and I hoped at this point, whatever it was that was going to happen in my dreams, my mother shouldn't be watching. Now that she had made herself known beside me, she didn't need to keep watching me in my dreams. After several failed attempts of trying to wake myself and leave Dreamland, I gave up on this idea and rather focused on the situation at hand. How did I even fall asleep in the first place? I couldn't understand this as my thoughts were all jammed up. A touch on my bare shoulder was enough to send me to an ent
