Chapter 202

Amelia’s Pov

I kept mute all through the duration of the flight. At intervals, I turned to look at him and my heart broke.

It was hard to place my hands on what our past might have been, but I could tell that the loss of my memories struck the deepest part of his heart.

After some minutes, we arrived at the airport and he alighted and walked some distance away.

I observed how fast he wiped tears off his eyes and it was clear that he broke into tears. My heart felt heavy for him, but my head was blank. Each time I made to recall even a slightest memory, I would feel a huge bang on my head and wince in pain.

I knew that it wasn’t a good sign and so, to avoid creating further duress for my brain, I tried to tread carefully and allow the memories come back on it’s own accord.

Alexander smiled at me after a while and led me to a car that was waiting. Surprisingly, he opened the car doors and walked in, gesturing for me to come inside.
